Arrived shortly after 5pm for dinner. Was told a 15 to 30 min wait. Wanted to eat before the parade. Needless to say we watched... from the window while waiting until 640. Never got to eat! Plenty of clean tables and employees standing by the kitchen door.Very upset. Will not be coming back! Read more
It was very quiet,given its across the street from a dorm and dinner time. We only ordered an appetizer. It was good. Applebees... is consistent. Service a bit slow,esp given it wasn'busy. The booth seat was terribly torn,gross. I didnt really want to benear it. If we were a larger than 2 people at would have been a hard pass sitting there. I don't usually eat out but I ordered blackened shrimp alfredo last night. It's the only thing I order, if ever I do order out,... from here. I don't really like how they make theirs, plus, it's never enough sauce, but nothing else on their menu interests me.But this time, it was particularly bad. The pasta literally had the consistency of glue and the 'flavor', what little there was,of flour. It was so bad, I could only struggle down two bites. Even the breadstick was like trying to bite into leather. I endedup only eating the shrimp and a few pieces of broccoli, as all else was inedible. Hadn't been to Applebee's in a while. But the food was really good! I just started eating meat again after almost 3 years and I... was so excited to get the fiesta lime chicken and the chicken wonton tacos!! They definitely did not disappoint!! The price haswent up a lot, almost $90 for 3 people. And the chicken wonton tacos aren't on the happy hour deal anymore. So luckily the foodwas amazing.
