We had just finished hiking the Albridge Sawmill Trail, and we timed it just right to exit the last stretch of the trail just as... it turned dark. Even better timing to be lucky enough to have caught the still open doors of this pizza shop for our first time.The staff was courteous and welcoming to a new order so near to closing time. We had a pizza that fed two with three toppings,peperroni, jakapenos, and pineapple, and with extra pizza sauce under it all. The convenience of Brookshire Brothers grocerystore made it easier to walk to and buy socks to change out some wet ones all while we waited for our pizza. It didn't take longat all for it to be made, considering we ordered on walk-in. THIS WAS THE BEST PIZZA WE'D EVER HAD on a road trip, of not alltogether. I called in my order before I left work, 30 mins to be exact. I ordered 2 pizzas. Was told 20 mins. Of course I would be there... in 40. So plenty of time. I show up, was told they are not quite finished,to pull up front. I was up front for 20 more mins. Anhours after I ordered my pizzas. Saw 4 other customers come and go.. so I called in and asked what the wait was. They told methe new girl gave my pizza away and I had to wait for new ones to be made. My issue is, why not inform me. Why not give me achoice? I finally received my pizzas 1 hour and 10 mins after I ordered them. I was not satisfied with my pizza, definitely notthe same as it was before. Plus I paid 35 dollars for 2 pizzas.. UPDATE: THE MANAGER DID REACH OUT AND OFFERED TO REMAKE MYORDER. SO THEY MADE MY VISIT RIGHT. I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS. I have only been here a couple of times. While there can be longer wait times as other reviews have addressed, it's never been... too bad for me. I have only ever ordered through the drive through so happy to wait. There is teens working in the restaurant soI think we should be patient with them. It may be their first job. They are very friendly though and the pizza is great in myopinion. If I could compare it to any pizza I'd say maybe sams club. I loved it and like to come every now and then! Read more
When they say a "cheeseburger calizones" they mean a mustard, hunks of pickles, hamburger meat, onion rolled up in a pizza... dough! Read more
I?ve ordered pizzas here several times, and have always had hot delicious pizzas! ???? I do recommend ordering during the... Opening Shift! Friendly staff, and pizzas are fresh and made to order. I?ve had minor issues with orders during the EveningShift, but nothing that couldn?t be simply fixed! Read more
When they first opened it was chaos, with long wait times and new staff working to get things flowing. Totally understandable!... New business in our tiny town--they were swamped. We have enjoyed our pizzas--especially the thin crust veggie. The service andtimes have improved greatly. It's good to have them here! Read more
New business in town thought I'd take the family to check out the new pizza place went inside ordered a couple of pizzas and it... took forever to make. They said it'd be about 15-20 minutes. That was a lie. They made the mistake of giving me somebody else'sPizza and calzone. I gave it back and waited some more for my pizzas that I had ordered. After 45 to 50 minutes I decided justto get a refund. They said my pizza was ready if I still wanted it I said if it's really ready right now don't worry about therefund I'll just take the pizza cuz I really wanted to try out this simple Simon Pizza. After another 5 minutes I asked themagain I thought you said my pizza was ready and they said no sir we apologize but we have to run it through again. I told him atthis point my family's been waiting out in the car and we are no longer interested in waiting any further just to refund mymoney and we'll go home. And so they did. I understand we get very busy sometimes and if they would have just been up front withme and say it could be anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour then it would be my choice if I wanted to wait that long instead oftelling somebody 15 minutes and then making them wait an hour that's a different story. I asked him what's the best way to ordera pizza they said it's the best way is going online and then coming in and picking it up. I read the other reviews and thisplace is looking pretty bad. Hopefully they'll get themselves together and we'll have a new favorite pizza place to order from.I heard simple Simon Pizza is pretty good but I guess today isn't the day to find out. Sorry kids maybe next time we'll be ableto get some pizza if these guys can get their stuff together. Read more
I ate the pizza for the first time the other day and I feel like it's the best I ever had. They make their dough fresh every day... and you can tell. The Calzones are awesome too. Read more
