The veggies are not fresh specifically the cilantro and the edamame. I have never ordered edamame in a poke bowl and have it... look so dark green instead of a bright green. This leads me to question if the salmon is even fresh? It?s a small portion for$13, $20 for a large bowl is overpriced. Parking is hard to find as well, very busy street here. Read more
Jake is the best, I literally eat here about 3-5 times a week. Never do they fail! Always fresh fresh fresh, and if something... isn?t fresh I seen Jake himself throw out food even if it was just a few hours old. I love coming here, it?s always quick andvery very tasty! You haven't had a real poke bowl until you've had Kai Poke. The owner told me that sushi grade tuna and salmon are delivered... fresh everyday. My family only orders from here because they have the freshest tuna on the island. There are so many options toadd to your poke bowl making it the perfect healthy lunch or a great post workout meal. I recommend trying the eel sauce orwasabi aioli and adding some crunch with tempura flakes. The owner is super friendly and if you've never had poke before, he ismore than happy to help.
