I almost never write reviews, but we met a waitress who has to be recognized. Sandra was phenomenal. On top of being patient... with the adults and all our questions and explaining the options, She catered to the children in our group and was extremelyunderstanding. She was prompt, courteous, pleasant, and was very knowledgable about the menu. She was able to make the bestrecommendations!!! She had a friendly demeanor about her that made us all more at ease during the time there. We were mostdefinitely satisfied customers. This is the ONLY diner that we will go to in the area. Mostly because of Sandra, the BEST diner waitress on the planet! She is... attentive, friendly, always hustling to ensure her guests get what they want and fast. She even has a story or two to tell, thatalways makes us laugh and smile. The owners and Sandra have always made us feel like we are part of the family. The food isalways good and always fresh. Best Pancakes, awesome salads, and really good fries! When we aren't busy, we try to make it tosee Sandra and team at least once a week. Did we mention how much we love Sandra?! The waitress by the name of Sandra should have never approached my table since she was not my server. I did recognize who she... was until after she walked away. I do not have very fond memories of her with my family. I was with friends therefore I did notwant to make a scene. Sandra should respect others boundaries. She is well aware of her past behaviors that created many badmemories and feelings. Read more

This was our second time here and food is great but this visit our server disappeared. Then someone from the front was informed... by my Wife they came and wrote up a new bill. When I went to pay they asked if I was leaving a tip and I said yes $5, somehowthis person decided to put $9 instead. I noticed when I was in the car when I reviewed the receipt. Horrible Read more

Awesome little diner. We called yesterday and made a reservation for our family. We were about 35 people including dinner small... kids. They reserved one dude of the diner for us and were super accommodating. Or waitress was fantastic and super patient withus. Also very complimentary. I wish I remembered her name. We mostly ordered breakfast and a few had wings and burgers. Thefood was phenomenal! I was super impressed with the challah French toast. We go to so many different diners and restaurants, andI was surprised how good this one was. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious and the eggs were cooked to your liking. Theservings were also nice and big and there was plenty of food left over. We usually go to another diner in Melville, but decidedto try this spot and I believe we found a new favorite.
