Gah, this place is so inconsistent. One day I'm like, "Man, best little coffee shop around." Thenother times like last night it... worse than McDonanalds. My wife wanted me to take her there to celebrate her birthday with some coffee flights. We settled inon the couches, waiting. Straight up salt water. Which having spoken to a buddy who's a coffee connoisseur, they didn't pull theespresso correctly. We ordered 4 flights for all of us. That's 24 shots of espresso, ruined. So disappointing. I visited Waterbean for the first time yesterday. I met a friend for ?? and collaboration and loved everything about the... experience! The coffee was delicious, reasonably priced and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was perfect with so manydifferent options for spreading out. All the seating was equipped with power supply and sufficient surface space to set up forbusiness use and they offer secure Wifi! Thank you, I'll definitely be back. Read more

Nice coffee shop. Large and open feeling, friendly staff. We went midday and there were only a handful of other people around,... so it was quiet. Great place to get some work done or study. Nice ambience. Coffee/pastries aren't amazing, but they're stillgood, if a bit pricey. Read more
Good coffee, cool ambiance, and amazing tea but I feel that the staff could be much friendlier here. I have been coming to... Waterbean locations for several years and was quite shocked. The Waterbean locations in Hickory, NC are *amazing* but here inHuntersville the staff were impatient, constant frowns on their faces, and seem to not care at all. Was not impressed.
