Haven?t been back to the Metro diner since the world shut down. My daughter had a craving for pancakes and asked to go. Since I... finished up my real estate work for the day I was in. The menu was a little different. They still had the pot pie and theblueberry pancakes though. Both really good especially the blueberry pancakes and sausage links. I even brought a blueberrypancake and sausage link order to go for tomorrow?s breakfast. The place was clean and we didn?t have to wait long which wasnice. My only negative was I didn?t think the people working there was as nice, but they weren?t ready rude either. Maybeeveryone was just tired and had a big morning rush. Read more
Overall I can still give 5 stars! As we all know many establishments are short staffed, same with Metro Diner. One thing I can... definitely say is I didn?t feel like it when it came to the SERVICE or FOOD! My server was awesome and our food was delicious!Thank you all for working hard!! Read more
This place is a true diner exp! We ordered the meatloaf with double veg, & the fried chicken benedict... Service was pretty... quick, they were on top of the drink refills, the food came out fresh, hot, & so yummy. Definitely want to come back & try otherthings here! Read more
This was our first but not last time here????! The food was so delicious. My hubby got the chicken and waffles and I got the 3... egg breakfast ????????????! Daniel our server was truly a great guy with exceptional customer service, I?m huge on customerservice and HE WAS EXCELLENT!!! The chicken and waffles is delicious and so was everything else. Our waitress was very kind and she had good suggestions. Would... definitely go back. The white Sangria was closer to a ginger ale vs sangria but for only 3.99 made sense. The cinnamon and sugarpancakes were delicious too! ? We ordered more items everything was good. Read more
Great little dinner with a good variety of choices that are mostly breakfast type dishes. The hollandaise sauce was light,... creamy with just the right amount of lemon. Hash browns were done perfectly with a crisp, crunchy outside crust that was goldenbrown. Generous portions and fast service, will be coming here again. Read more
This is my second time at this establishment. The first time our party of four had to wait around 30 minutes in order to get a... table, but this day, we were ushered right in (we arrived around 9:45 am on a Saturday). We asked to be seated in Collin'ssection as he was great with us the last time we were there. Collin is a great addition to your team. This was my husband'sfirst time here. He ordered the shrimp and grits. They were able to make it without adding sausage. He said was good, not great.I ordered the #1 most ordered item on the menu which is chicken and waffles. I omitted the strawberry butter and the spicysyrup. I also just ate dark meat, legs and thighs. It was all great, just like last time. I always walk out full which justifiesthe cost of many meals. Went here for the cinnamon roll pancakes and they didn't disappoint!!! We were seated fairly quick. Our waitress was very nice.... I forget her name, but I know it started with an S. She was a cute, chocolate young woman with 2 pig tails ????. Shout out toyou girl!!! Would definitely go back if I'm in the area again!
