A small, cute, and homely atmosphere with a lovely view of the river bend. The food is inexpensive and well made. My wife and I... came here for breakfast twice. The breakfast menu was well laid out and service was quick! The location is very close to MarcoPolo Land Campground making it a convenient and uncostly place to start your day with your family. We stopped at this bakery for lunch. We got a table on the outside patio. The view was beautiful. We ordered the fish and chips.... One piece of fish was plenty along with fries and coleslaw. The fries were good but homemade fries would make this dish evenbetter . PEI is the home of potatoes! The waitress was efficient and always smiling ????. Would drop by again if Im in the area. The take out bakery items were fresh and good. Especially the cookies ????. Read more
Caesar salad was untossed with globs of salad dressing. It had zero croutons, several specs of simulated bacon, and marble... shredded cheese. I threw it out without taking a bite. I was told the new ownership had ruined the bakery and this saladconfirmed that for me. Read more
Out and about site seeing for the day and my wife happened to find this little gem along our route. Glad we stopped. We ordered... haddock and chips as well as a roast beef sandwich. The fish was super tasty. Very lightly breaded and fried, super moist andtasty. The fries were great. The Roast Beef sandwich was served on homemade bread that tasted like it was made today (prettysure it was) with home cooked and sliced roast beef. Super happy to have found this little road side stop along our travels. Read more
Stumbled on this place looking for a coffee but grabbed breakfast. Friendly quick service, good prices, decent food. Nothing... fancy, just a little old diner. Would visit again. After reading the recent negative reviews, we looked at the kitchen -very clean - and bathrooms - also clean. Negative reviews don't mention if they actually have ever eaten there and a couplefrom people who have only posted ONE or two reviews or mostly negative reviews. All coming recently. Sounds like a coordinatedattack. The owner is a lovely little lady but a visible minority. Hmmm?? Read more
