Reviews for Cocoa Diner in Hummelstown, PA
Definitely not a $ place. over expensive for the quality of food. I love diners been to countless ones I know I'm not expecting... 10/10 but it's always the people and simple food that keeps me loving diners. This place just had none of it. Our waiter wasrude. The soup was wayyyy to thick and chill. And they charge 12.99 for a obviously frozen burger. Our friend got the friedchicken it was dry and tasted like it was sitting out for so long. I had spaghetti and got me sick after just acouple bites. Itwas soaked. i drained most of the water. I asked them to take it off the bill. They did after awhile but still charged me for mysoup that was included??? They didn't even give me my complementary garlic bread. I didn't fight it since I just wanted to leave Read more
The service was quick and friendly, but the food was about average in terms of taste and quality. The soup was the only... exceptional dish; everything else was mildly flavorful. Read more

We haven't been here for ages so decided to stop for breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised as the diner has been renovated. ... Booths were comfortable...and I did not need my back cushion. Diner and booths were clean. Our order was taken immediately andservice was quick. Our server had my omelet prepared twice before bringing to our table as I had ordered cheddar instead ofAmerican cheese. Food served hot. We had omelets...Mushroom and cheddar cheese and the other was a bacon and cheese. Served withhashbrowns which were cooked perfect. Their coffee is good. Bakery case in plain view as you enter. Outside area withtables...not so great. The quality of their food has greatly improved since were here last. We definitely will return for lunchand dinner. Handicap parking and ramp. Read more

This is a typical diner. Food was okay and our server was friendly. All of the food we had was bland. We ordered French onion... soup. The soup had very little taste and the onions were still raw. The burger looked and tasted like it was a frozen patty. Read more
Decided to try this place today, but was disappointed. The person that sat us wasn't rude, but acted like she definitely didn't... want to be there and barely spoke.. We were quickly greeted by our server Glenda who was nice. We received our food very shortlyafter ordering which was surprising. We found out quickly why. -- the onions in my country eggs meal were overly excessive andpretty much raw. the potatoes that we both received were crispy upon first look, but were also way undercooked. I'm not surewhat happened to my toast as it was chewy. we also thought the prices were considerably high. the egg and meat croissantsandwich o. the menu was $12.99. I left about 1/2 of my meal as I was tired of picking out the raw onions. When we told theserver about our food, she agreed with us, but didn't offer a resolution. when we got the bill 10% off was written on the bill.the pic shows the excessive amount of onions I picked out of the portion of eggs I ate. Our meal for 2 was almost $32.00 andonly ordered 1 beverage and water. the portions didn't reflect the over price either. I think we'll stick with CrackerBarrel. Read more
