Very disappointed and will not be stopping at this location again. I ordered chicken livers and was asked to wait (which I am... used to doing since livers aren't ordered often. I'm always getting fresh food no matter what location I stop at) so imaging mysurprise when I reached into the bag right after leaving the drive thru to find them lukewarm at best. I just went to this location and ordered a 10 piece for 11.99 and the sign states I can add 5 rolls for 2.50. The guy told me... that it's 4 rolls in the system. I advised him the sign states 5 rolls. I asked for a manager and he said she was going to tellme the same thing. It is false advertising if your sign say one thing but you tell me something else. I only get baked chicken at Hartz, twice now I've received a piece of chicken that smelled like it should not be eaten.... Smh.... The first time I took it back, the cook swore that it was fresh, but it smelt bad. The second time I just threw it out, notworth the back and forth..... I hate driving over to 1st street, but I'd rather have the Hartz chicken from there than this one. Read more
I don?t know how this place is still open. Me and my husband just left. The food was VERY old there was NOTHING in the buffet... fresh, the manager was beyond rude and to top off the experience, we thought we could at least eat some of the chocolatepudding, my husband ate a bite and ran to the bathroom to throw up, it tasted like chemicals!!!! Im glad we didn?t give it toour two year old first! Horrible customer service by far the worst fast food service yet, lady comes to window didn?t say anything just stared and put... hand out for payment which was so rude took payment and I asked if I could add to order she didn?t say anything another guy cameto the window gave us our order I told him the order I wanted to add and he proceeded to say ?let me see? and walked off , so weare still seating in drive thur waiting for feedback on our order that we thought was being made but lady comes to window saying?why are you still here you are holding up my line? Firstly, even with the Senior discount, it was the most expensive Hartz Buffet I had ever been to. They had no meat on the... buffet when we got there. We kept having to ask them for meat. They would bring about six pieces of fried chicken out and thenyou had to wait on more. We asked for Hot wings three times and 45 minutes later got fried wings with no hot sauce. Then we hadto wait on hot sauce. I will never go to this location again. Two people brought back to go orders, while we were dining. Bothof them because they weren't packaged with the wrong amount. The cook did a great job with flavor, it's just a buffet usually isfilled with a variety of things to eat and this had no chicken until you asked for it. I was extremely disappointed with thislocation. That makes two locations in Humble that I will not revisit. It's honestly worth the drive to LaMarque for the bestHartz Buffet ever. I will make that drive, next time or try the one in Alvin again. The ones in Houston have poor customerservice, lack of options and are truly not worth the newer higher prices. I did try the one in Baytown last month. That one wasvery good. Food was hot, fresh, and delicious. My favorite is liver and gizzards with lots of cream gravy on top.
