Black Bear Diner doesn't owe me NOTHING! I'm completely satisfied. No, I'm more than satisfied with everything, starting with... the customer service, especially from our beautiful waitress/server ASHLEY. She was so patient and friendly. I really like her.Employers wanting to train servers on how to offer GOLD STAR service should hire ASHLEY as a consultant/trainer. She's masteredit. Let me talk about the food. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much but apparently the cook who is named Cliff, has also masteredhis craft. Everything was beautifully presented, piping hot, and delicious. Oh and the serving size is ridiculous!! So muchfood. My eyes and brain wanted to devour it all, but it was so much. Look at the pictures! If you haven't been to this location,plan on visiting soon. My family brought me here for my birthday. Great food, nice service, but it took a good minute for our food to come out. A... family of 6 got their food before us; a party of 3 and we ordered before them. So I had to knock down a star for that. But otherthen that, had a good time. Read more

I?ve been to a few Black Bear Diners in California, all great! This one however, has blown my mind with their exceptional... customer service. From the moment I came in through the door and was greeted by a warm smile by Jonas. The gentleman that satus, José Luis, also greeted us and made us feel right at home. Jesus, our server, was on top of our table making sure my tablewas taken care of throughout our dine-in experience. Even the lady bringing out our food to the table, not only brought us ourdelicious breakfast, but gave us the warmest of smiles. Jorge, the manager, was greeting, cleaning, hustling and was also superfriendly. I loved seeing the culture this team has created, and I definitely recommend anyone in this area to go to thisrestaurant. The food here is surprisingly good! Waitresses are always nice and helpful when you don?t know what to order. Now, that... Huckleberry lemonade situation they have is super delicious! I?m not even sure how ?Waffle House? got it?s name because thisplace has the best waffles and syrup!! They should sell the syrup it?s so good! Friday evenings are all you can fish. Read more

First time coming, will definitely be back! We came with a party of 11 and they worked with us to seat us within 5... minutes. Ashley took great care of us, recommended the Hobo omelette. This was our second time visiting and the food was just as good as the 1st time. We tried the hobo omelette and the cinnamon... roll french toast. The french toast has a very distinct flavor and doesn't even really need the syrup provided with it. Our onlycomplaint is that this time they sat us at the bar. We were willing to wait for a booth, but they were really busy on thisSunday morning and just wanted to get us seated and fed. The bar area was very loud and chaotic (people yelling for runners andfor status on an order) and kinda took away from our relaxing Sunday breakfast vibe. Now this place knows breakfast! This place never really caught my attention up until my wife tried it with my Mother-in-law. She... said that I would love it...an she was right! The middle of the woods style look is pretty nice. The menu is like reading on anold school newspaper. It was neat to see that. An the variety that they have to offer was pretty nice as well.
