I picked this place to eat because of the great reviews, but I guess today was not my lucky day to get a good meal. The people... were very friendly and professional, but the food wasn?t that great. I ordered a diner plate which consisted of fried rice, chowmein and orange chicken. The meat was bitter and rinsed, the chow mein was blend and the rice tasted burnt. Just wasn?t my day,I guess. Food is great customer service is always good from the regulars I always see working there as for the young girl wearing a face... mask wiping tables that didn't acknowledge me but certainly did the people that walked in before me you should not be worryingabout how I am paying you provided no customer service towards me and Blatantly ignored me but decide to come and chime in andbe nosy about my payment methods snickering as if im not standing there paying as you make unnecessary remarks maybe you shouldconsider some more training when it comes to customer service haven't made my regular stops at Hughson Asian kitchen since. Sushi was good, however the salmon teriyaki wasn't a pleaser. It almost tasted like it was a microwave meal, very blan.

This is some of the best sushi I've had. The ambiance is subtle and quiet unlike most sushi places where you feel like you can... hardly breathe. Presentation is fantastic and the Chinese menu is just as good as the sushi. Portions of plenty, excellentservice and staff, truly one of my favorite restaurants around. Read more
