Great place. Never had a bad meal there. Service is fast, waitstaff attentive. Always more food than I can eat- at a good price.

Man, lunch never even made it to the order process. Took awhile to be seated and I wasn't asked for my drink order or received... the comp chips and salsa. After I watch two tables that came in after me order, I just walked out and no one cared. I use tolove this place and I guess they just dislike me. I am telling all my friends to avoid this place. Can't stand rude people and Idon't have to. Now I have to find a new place for Friday's lunches, but to be honest; I get better service at the TacoBellaccross the street...and that says alot. We sure wish we had tried La Playa Maya sooner. We have been driving past it, at least once a week for over 4 years. The... building just doesn't stand out BUT once you step in the door, the inside has a really nice atmosphere and it's welldecorated. The food is good and reasonably priced. Portions are generous. Very nice dinner on an early Friday evening. Wasn't busy when we arrived, but definitely was getting busy when we left. The... chips were typical. The salsa was very good, but at times was a bit spicy. We ordered shrimp fajitas for 2. It was plenty andpretty good. The shrimp was overcooked, but that is somewhat the expected with a steaming hot cast iron pan. My wife enjoyed amargarita.. We'll definitely go back! Read more

Always the best service ever! The food is always delicious and the drinks are as well! We love sitting at the bar if it's open... but even if it isn't, the service never fails at the table! The fajitas are amazing and so is the guacamole! The ceviche isalso a favorite of mine to get (pictured)! Next on my list to try is the table side flaming queso!!! Read more
