We needed an Italian restaurant in Hudson and Little Italy does not disappoint. We have been there a few times now and have been... very pleased each time.\nThe portions are large and the prices are very fair considering the quality and quantity. The shrimpcocktail is an exceptional bargain at just $11. It is as good as I\'ve had anywhere and much better than most. The caprese andstuffed mushrooms are very good. The Champagne Chicken that everyone talks about is definitely worth the hype. On our mostrecent visit I had the Baked Rigatoni. It was like a mountain of carnivore candy with a meat sauce, sausage and a largemeatball. The meatballs taste homemade instead of that awful frozen meatball taste we have all experienced at some point. It wasthe perfect comfort food for a cold day. I couldn\'t even finish half of it and I am a glutton.\nThe employees immediately putyou at ease. We have had Tony wait on us a few times, he is very personable and couldn\'t be nicer.\nI am so happy that we canget great Italian food anytime we want without spending all day in the kitchen! Service-5.0 stars- Jake was attentive, well mannered, and friendly; service was prompt and the kitchen helped with food delivery... demonstrating team cohesion.\n\nPasta- Bolongnese bake- 4.0 Rigatoni al dente, perfecto; meatball and sausage were very tastywith adequate seasoning and high quality beef/pork. The portion was a too large, and too much cheese (mozzarella, I think) butit is WI and we love our cheese!\n\nCaprese- 5.0, Heirloom tomato was ripe and room temp allowing for full flavor appreciation.Again, very large portion. My favorite dishes so far have been the BLT Grinder sub, the caprese salad, and my favorite, champagne chicken. It is different... from other Italian restaurants, but I love the rich, and thick creamy sauce. The white peach Belinni, and Italian Mulecocktail?s do not disappoint as well. I just wish all of this was low calorie so I could eat it daily! ???????? Read more

Tried this restaurant for a birthday. Figured might as well try something new. Ordered the fettuccine chicken. Sauce was average... - more of the creamy sauce if that is your thing. I like less creamy personally. Chicken was not the best. Felt like it wasfrozen and warmed up to temp with no seasoning on it. Salad came after the main came out - that needs to change. Seems very slowfor the service on the food with the amount of people in the restaurant. Hour and half for a group to eat .Wouldn?t recommendthis restaurant unfortunately. Salad for $5 is high for the amount you receive and the Caesar is bland. Best part was the breadat $3. Hard to come out to eat and spend a good amount of money on food I feel like doesn?t live up to what it should or couldbe. Disappointed. Seems like some items are a hit for the people I went with.
