The Hudson High School cast of about 50 students went to Dennys after our opening night! The service was amazing given they had... our large cast + everyone else in the restaurant to accommodate. The food service was slow. The waiter's sure we're not trained right and or acted like they did not care. The ceiling was... leaking. The floor was nasty. All the condiments were empty. I had coffee and the mug was gross on the inside. Never going thereagain. Read more
The nostalgia at this Denny's is spot on. On this visit I ordered off the value menu and got biscuits and gravy. Food was served... fast. During my meal the server was so friendly, I was offered a slice of apple pie with ice cream. The portion was supergenerous, and I was so grateful to get something for my birthday. It was completely unprompted, but the plating was so yummy Ihad to take a picture. You can see the crisp on the crust through the picture; it was divinely crunchy and gooey with a bit ofmelted ice cream. This act of kindness totally made my day. Not bad food but you can tell the diner hasn't been cleaned well in years. We went early am, 10 am so if the place had been... cleaned at all it would have been pretty clean still at this time in the morning. The windows inside were super dirty withsplashes and fingerprints, the silverware was really badly washed, the booths were duct taped together, the bar had all kindsof dirt on the sides where you could tell it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The food wasn't bad but my burger was so greasyit was like water was running out of it. Fantastic service and food! I?m not kidding, every single time i?ve been here the food has been absolutely superb. Not to... mention the customer service is fantastic. They have always been so kind, and typically they are open 24/7, but one night theirchef called in so they were closing at 10. My boyfriend and I not knowing this, got there around 9:45 and they still served usand even waited past 10 for us to finish our meals, told us no rush. Not to mention they have very good prices compared to mostdining restaurants nowadays. I will be coming back here until the day I die. Read more
It was a wonderful experience. After a long day driving, we were so happy to get a great-tasting meal. The coffee and hot... chocolate were free refills and the service from Pamela was spot on. Nicely done! We both had breakfast and my wife had thecinnamon crunch with cream cheese drizzle on her pancakes. She won the most creative meal selection.
