The people there are so friendly and the atmosphere is very laid back and relaxing. They have booths, chairs, couches and a... window to see the entire brewing process. It's a great place for the whole family even and I would highly recommend trying tofood, there is an array from gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and they do sell meat as well. Food and beer were good. I love the idea of a chefs special popcorn. I ordered the rueben popcorn because I really like the... sandwich. It was difficult to eat. I wish the corned beef was chopped into smaller pieces so you got some in every bite. Still a very original and delicious appetizer. The atmosphere is original as well. Lots of tree references and even some treetrunks lining the wall with the beer viewing window. Read more
Came in, sat at the bar, was given a menu and then we became invisible. We sat there for ten minutes watching the barkeeps wash... dishes, chat, greet others, before deciding to take our money elsewhere. I work too hard to be ignored for that long. Always a comfortable atmosphere. Simple menu but all selections are very good and there is always a great craft selection to... compliment the food. The caramel pecan cheese cake is out of this world. Read more
My favorite beer style is sour. They used to have some really great sours! But not anymore. Not having sours on draft anymore is... sad. But what makes me sadder is that the popcorn machine is gone : ( I loved visiting in the early days when we could grab abeer and popcorn. This gem is tucked away behind some industrial businesses. The restaurant is huge and so is the bar area. There's also a patio... area outside. The staff is friendly, quick and knowledgeable about all the beers and meads they serve. The Sylvan Dread beer and the sweet potato cheesecake (it?s a specialty dessert, you have to ask for it) are both excellent!!... Would recommend. Read more
