Tavern only. Astonishingly good food that seems to be fresh, simple ingredients prepared with precision care by a world class... chef. There are good restaurants in Hudson, but this one was the best we had. It was very casual (but professional) service. Wesat on the patio at a picnic style table. This review is for the Tavern. I've been here 5-6 times over the last few years and have been consistently blown away. I've... never had a dish or drink that was a miss. They seem to have some standby dishes but mix it up throughout the year and keep themenu fresh and seasonal. They manage to take familiar ingredients and combine them in ways that make you feel like you'retasting them again for the first time. The vibe is cozy and romantic. Went to brunch. Quality was great, clearly above average. The eggs were somehow a bit fishy. Every other bite has a strange... taste and it was unclear if it was contaminated, or just part of the complex mix of ingredients. The fish did not mention anyfish. Coffee was just ok. Wow. The food was amazing. Everything was creative enough to make it unique without taking away from the dish. The sourdough... came with butter sprinkled in bee pollen. The crudo had this cool shaved ice ají to add spice. The scallops were so tasty. Andthe rib meat just slid off the bone, and came with an interesting jalapeño relish. They also have a good selection of naturalwines. Highly recommend this place for dinner! Read more
