Over the past few months, this store has only had 1-3 people working, even on the busy nights. The guy who works there everyday... is always very thorough and helpful. Deserves No Stars! I Placed an order Sunday, the pizza was dry lacking sauce/cheese, & extremely greasy. Upon picking up order... cheese bread was burnt. I called the store and spoke with a manager who stated his name was Jessi and he'd put a credit on myaccount. I placed another order the next day hoping for better results instead again the pizza appeared dry with minimumtoppings scattered and the cheese bread was burnt. The staff starts remaking the order as he's making the bread with no gloveshe picks up a receipt off the floor then proceeds to finish the bread. I was disgusted! I brought it to his attention but hedidn't seem to know why his actions were disgusting. I asked if he'd wash his hands and remake the food. The manager comes outafter several minutes and states it's no credit on my account and his name is Jessi but he wasn't there yesterday he was sittingat the hospital with his mom hoping she didn't die. I stated "well I'm sorry to hear that but I called yesterday & that's thename he gave me, you don't wear name tags so how would I know the name?" He asked several times "did he sound like me?" Ireplied I don't remember what he sounded like. He stated he would need to flag my account high risk because the credit wasn'tlisted. He proceeded to call his GM whose name he said was Justin. Justin acknowledged and said it sounded familiar but hedidn't enter the credit into the system, go ahead and replace the order. Jessi proceeds to say I still need to flag youraccount, I asked why when it's apparent it's your stores error but it doesn't matter because I won't be ordering again! I toldhim I was going to file a complaint and he stated "for what getting free food?" Several times. I stated "No because of the BSI've had to go through in order to get the replacement tonight!" My family orders from this location pretty often. Up until recently it was pretty good. However we went to order tonight, our... usual order, and I requested an extra side of mayo for my steak sandwich. I told him I had no issue paying for it. The managertold me that I could not have an extra side of mayo because he could not charge me for it. I said charge me for an extra saucecup or something that is not my fault. He laughed at me and told me they get in trouble for giving out free sauces. I repeatedthat I had no issue paying for it but that is the way we always order our food. He rudely informed me he would do it tonight butnever again. So I guess we will not be a returning customer. Someone recommended Marco's to us. It was the first time I heard someone mention this pizza shop. While the service was... decent, the taste wasn't all that great. The price is affordable but I would not recommend it to anyone. Read more
Marcos is the best of the "mid to low tier" pizza chains. I don't think it's as good as a Marion's or Donatos, but for the cost... it is easily the best pizza place. Their old world pepperoni are to die for. Read more
