Reviews for Hubbard Inn in Hubbard, OR
This places a true gem in the middle of nowhere. Worth a drive no matter where you're at. Food is exceptional and the service is... top notch. Not a large establishment so potentially a wait. Worth every minute of it. Would highly recommend for anyone in thearea and anyone in the outside area. Cannot express enough how much the food and the service are worth venturing out to Hubbard. The place appears to have gone through a recent remodel and I can tell you from first-hand experience that it is absolutelyamazing. The architecture and the finish work are amazing. Read more

I?ll give my cons and pros (yes I know that?s in reverse) and why I gave only 4 stars. My personal preferences some people might... find the cons positive. Cons: - Tacos don?t have meat but avocado. Same with flatas (rolled fried tacos). - The prime rib isaged (not a fan of aged meat - again personal preference). - Not open everyday ( I understand staffing is hard right now) -limited food selection *The next one is the only reason I removed a star and the only ?real? con. No kids allowed because theywant to have video poker. Why not have it just separate like other places or no kids after 8pm or something. Many other placeshave figured out how to accommodate this. I have been here 8+ times since they opened. But I would have been here 2 times aweek if you could bring a kid and grab a beer even if it?s outside. Hubbard has lots of young families I know of 3 other couplesthat haven?t made it yet because they have a kid. Ohhh and here is the kicker, they don?t have video poker because the statesuseless and behind in issuing them machines. When will they get them? Probably 3 years who knows. Pros: - Amazing ceviche. Forreals. I can?t stand any ?fishy? taste when it?s not fresh/unfrozen for too long. The shrimp/rockfish I have as 5 times and it?salways on point. - Bomb smash burger and fries. I am picky about both. Fries aren?t breaded, not too big and not to small. - thebest Greek salad I have had. They don?t add filler romaine lettuce but they do add crispy chickpeas. So good. - Very nice staffevery single one I?ve spoken to - Very cool steam punk vibe. The inside looks very cool. - big garage windows they open whenit?s hot. - very clean inside - great beer selection - good cocktails - did I mention the bomb food. It?s bomb. (Not sure whyit wouldn?t let me add food pics - food presentation is great) Read more
This will be long but hear me out. You will want to add this to your list of places to stop. My first thought about Hubbard Inn... was ?Hubbard?? Upon my first reaction when I entered was WOW. Seriously, the vibe and design of this place is simply stunningand intriguing. You first see the bar with this intricate steam punk design with machines moving up and down. Moving my eyestowards the center you get introduced to a wide display of industrial meets classy. The lights hanging above the bar make youtake a second look. They are glass bottles designed in this amazing collection of three that is just designed in such a perfectway. As you walk toward the back, on the right you see beautiful wooden tables and industrial chairs next to garage doors thatopen up In the summer for that outdoor seating vibe. Further on your way towards the backs you are met with a beautiful whitewall with a window where the chefs place the prepared food and an amazing copper sign for the Hubbard Inn. Very tasteful andmodern. Upon glancing at the ceiling you see this amazing, elaborate chandelier built with the same lights above the bar. Nowthis is all sitting on this beautiful ceiling tile that gives this royal antique approach. I decided to sit at the bar in frontof this antique cash register that just ties is all in together since it was built in the 1800?s. As I peeked at the menu I wasmet with a small yes tasteful menu with some amazing items to choose from. I personally like smaller menus as it shows that thekitchen specializes in those items. I ordered some Flautas and garlic bread. My mouth was watering with excitement just readingthe description. I was met with this plate laid with beautiful pieces of perfectly grilled toast and minced olives with thissauce that was heaven. The Flautas didn?t disappoint as well. Perfectly deep fried and the sauce spilled over it was pairedperfectly with each bite. I do recommend this place and will be back myself. P Read more
When you first step in your captivated by the openness and decor. The ambience is amazing, it has a steampunk vibe with a hint... of country living. Not only is an amazing environment, but the service, drinks and food is excellent (props to the chief) Iwould give this place a 10 out of 10. Read more
Great food didn't expect to find ceviche and gnocchi on a menu in a small town. Steak was huge and done really well. Wife got... the chicken sandwich and she was very impressed. Read more
We checked it out lastnight. It?s beautiful as to be expected inside since it was just remodeled. The staff were very charming... and accommodating. We tried the burger and it was amazing. The flavor and the attention to detail down to the bun was perfect.Thank you so much for the local hospitality . My only thing to point out is if they?re trying to be ?biker friendly? , that theyshould have had motorcycle parking (at least a few designated spots) or a place to put your helmets inside for rainy days.? Something seems so calming almost like a place to sip whiskey vs hang out with friends and laugh. So definitely a specificvibe that not everyone may be in to everyday. Maybe certain days? but not a continuous hangout spot. Just my humble opinion toother bikers looking for a spot to have a drink. Otherwise great place and people. Read more
