For a quick service establishment, they far exceeded my expectations. 2 very delicious Barbacoa tacos at a super reasonable... price. You can dine in or they have a couple tables outdoors for beautiful days like today. Ima try that cup of corn nexttime. Thank you for a great tide me over. Read more
Most authentic place in the area. The asada is the best! Hot sauce is extremely good. This is usually my go to and it saddens me... to revise my review: Losing four stars due to a door dash issue that was not resolved appropriately. I ordered one itemincorrectly on the app. I called the restaurant and was told they would cancel it and I could submit a new order. I did asinstructed, but they never cancelled the order. I received two orders back to back, neither which was actually my order. $80later I was stuck with a bunch of food I didn?t order covered in onions, which I?m allergic to. After calling back forresolution I was told there?s nothing that they can do and if I ever want to swing by they?d give me cash. Didn?t take my nameor number and nobody seems to remember the incident. Please work on customer service and and/or lower level management please.Repeat customers are your lifeline. Read more
Been here before and it was good. Today was the worst service I've ever had! Might I say I've worked in the restaurant world for... over half my life... We ordered on doordash, that way we could edit and what not that way and not on the phone. Picked a time,and got pushed back ten minutes. Fine, it's Cinco De Mayo, I get it. Waiting and waiting there, never got told the order wasready. People everywhere are upset waiting even over an hour inside the small hole in the wall. I kept waiting and checkingdoordash, it just kept pushing it back a minute. Got there at 635 and waited till 720 when I finally got it. The kicker...Iwaited the whole time, looking at the orders ready. They are behind the counter, so you cannot check yourself. My order had beenthere since 635 sitting there waiting for me! The person at the counter was just taking orders...They had people waiting forpick ups in another line. Never could get her attention, I was going to ask if they were even working on my order yet. Nope,finally I was able to ask and her eyes lit up...She gave me the order, didn't say sorry or anything. Then 736 doordash sent atext saying it is ready for pick up once I was home. This is nothing to do with doordash, and everything to do with them andtheir service. All the food I was soggy and unable to eat...The torta was soggy on the bottom, bread ripped from the bottom ofthe weight of the sandwich. Seven tacos thrown in a box too small for them, all the corn shells soggy and were not holdingtogether. The tortillas were overly greasy even, and no salt. Also was supposed to get the chips free if I spent over 20 and Idid, but I did not get them for free. Last part, Esquites smelled and tasted like the cheese had gone bad. I've been coming to Street Tacos in Howell shortly after they opened. I've tried many of their different options. Tonight I... tried their Tinga (chicken) burrito. It's REALLY delicious. Their yummy queso over the top was just perfect. Don't hesitate tostop in and try anything on their menu. It's all fabulous! I met the owner tonight as well and she's lovely to talk with. Read more
