One of the best Italian restaurants I?ve ever been to. The food was absolutely delicious and it came out quickly. Our waiter... (tall guy with a full beard- sorry, I forgot to write down his name) was very friendly, helpful and attentive. Overall, greatexperience at Lenny?s. Will be back soon! Read more
The food was good. The atmosphere great. The signed pictures of celebrities on the wall that you would expect in a NY Italian... restaurant that's been around this long. The one knock was the price. $14 for shrimp cocktail with 3 medium shrimp. $50 for mydaughter and I for lunch and she ordered from kids menu. Waitress was nice but other staff didn't even acknowledge us. Read more
Cheaper prices than sheepshead bay for seafood and fresher seafood. Look for deals on luncheon special like the fillet sandwich... or oyster sandwich. My mom loved the filet sandwich. The luncheon special on baked clams for six clams is less than the menuprice for the same thing. The prices are much more than a year ago but still for the portion size it's better than anywhere elseyou would go to. Expect to spend a hundred dollars for three people at least. The seafood platter for forty dollars is for twopeople and it's over linguine and full of seafood. It's a gorgeous looking platter and picture worthy and a deal for what youget. Tony ate most of the seafood platter on his own and took home the rest. Bread is free and the house white wine is sixdollars a big glass. It's a temptation not to fill up on bread alone. Good place to teach children to eat seafood for firsttime. Don't buy steaks here. It's too expensive and the cook don't know how to make it juicy but well done. That's a sign thecook is not experienced cooking steak. But the seafood is cooked well and not tough at all. Go there for luncheon special if yougo cheap but buy the seafood platter for two if you want to splurge. All seafood dishes I'd recommend. It's worth the travelthere if you have a car. Go there.
