On my way to a friends house for dinner . Never been in a Arabian bakery.Everyone was pleasant. The owner or manager helped me... pick out 2 desserts.\nI bought 2 different boxes of fig cookies.The cookies were delicious not overly sugary just the pleasanttaste of the fresh figs. This has been our first time in Zeyad?s restaurant, but we?ve been to the bakery on the other side close by on Fondren Rd... before. Someone told us they had a restaurant close by so we decided to check it out for ourselves. They treated us nice when wewere there, even though it took a bit of a time for bringing the food out. An absolute gem! The customer service here is incredible -- attentive, friendly, and eager to offer recommendations for special... treats. I instantly felt welcome. The fresh bread and homemade desserts are straight out of the oven and phenomenal -- richflavor and perfect texture. There\'s a great selection of hard-to-find pantry items too -- I stocked up on all sorts of stuff Ican\'t find anywhere else. Amazing place. Always fresh food and smells yummy. You can a lot of good Iraqi foods here too. Love it.
