Reviews for Zero Degrees in Houston, TX
My first time here the drinks were delicious but the customer service was not very friendly they didn't really communicate just... left the drinks on the counter. Read more
Stopped by on a Saturday, was quickly helped. I ended up ordering the Cookie Moster and a Strawberry (mojito?/lemonade) and it... was pretty good. It tasted like a mojito but without the alcohol. Def. a favorite now. The cookie moster was for my son andseemed to enjoy it. Will have to go back and try their other signature drinks. Read more
So my boyfriend went to get my usual garlic steak and noodles and surprise! The prices went up. Somehow my serving is not only... smaller, but tastes like GROUND BEEF. We went from ordering 2 entrees and teas a week to like never again because it tastesoily and cheap now. Plus it?s small. Never again? Read more
Very nice place to try. Location is a little small. They had a Jenga for entertainment which was nice. Shaded outdoor sitting... area, that has more tables than inside. Cucumber limeade and Mangonda was the best of all the things we purchased. Presentationand quality of food was good just a tad over priced for my liking. Definitely would recommend to try it at least once. Read more
The drinks are amazing, however, the food is gross and made me and 2 others (my cousin and a coworker) sick. I ordered the... carne asada fries, and while the presentation was good, the food was nasty. Had a very weird, sweet taste. And was too spicy. My coworker said the same about the same dish she ordered. And my cousin, who ordered the carne asada nachos, said the samething. Do not order food from here, they only worry about the food looking good, as opposed to tasting good. Drink however- 5stars. Read more
I love this place! At the Bellaire location I had the Ube and for those of you who do not know what it is, it's a purple yam. ... It tastes just like taro and I love taro anything! It was not packed at all, but with this location being fairly new, it isPACKED! So be prepared to be in a long line and wait about 15 minutes for your drinks and another 10 for hot food items. Withgood company, I didn't mind the wait. This location is much smaller than the Bellaire location. The staff are friendly butbecause of the crowd, the tables aren't always cleaned immediately. I ordered the: Mango Twist, the Spicy Watermelon, and thePopcorn Chicken Box which included chicken, celery, carrots, Cajun fries and ketchup/ ranch. The box also comes with a drink sowe got the strawberry bliss. All the drinks were fantastic, it was hard to pick a favorite. Buttttt if I had to choose I wouldpick the Mango Twist drink. Now, I read some FB comments from a certain ethnicity, complaining about the mangos and how theyare not ripe. If they were overly ripe they wouldn't be able to obtain the "twist" of the mangoes fanning out beautifully on thestraw. And secondly, Asians like them both ways sweet/ripe and sour/not quite ripe. It has a slightly sweet, slightly tartcrunch to it. I really enjoyed it, but that's just my personal opinion. Read more
I agree with another reviewer here that there isn't enough cheese on the hot cheetos cheese fries. The hot cheetos elotes also... didn't have enough cheese, mayo, or lime. It tastes like they use hot cheetos puffs so it's not as spicy as the regular hotcheetos. The orange chicken was just ok. You're better off getting elote from a Mexican restaurant or food truck and orangechicken from a Chinese restaurant. The ube milkshake was decent. The spicy watermelon could've had more tajin and chamoy.Service was slow but that is to be expected for a new restaurant. My first impression of this place is that it's overrated andover priced, but I do look forward to trying other things on the menu. I like the novelty and presentation. Read more
Watermelon slush is so refreshing and my go to when it's hot outside. The strawberry horchata also is one of my other favorites.
