My husband and I ( a black couple) have eaten here before and decided to spend our date night dining here on Saturday Sep 17. We... entered the restaurant around 6pm and it was completely empty. The hostess was having a conversation with the sushi chef acrossthe restaurant and never acknowledged us. I didn’t think anything of it, until she actually walked past us, grabbed menus andwalked away again. She finally came and said “ hibachi or regular dine”,( no greeting or anything)we answered hibachi andshe walked away again. At this time, an elderly Caucasian couple came in, and she greeted them very warmly and happily askedwhere they would like to sit. The couple asked, well did you help this couple yet, and she replied.. oh I got them in a verydirty tone. The couple engaged in conversation with us about hibachi , and we said yeah we love hibachi .. and the hostess saidin a very condescending tone.. “ hibachi is for children. I thought hibachi was the act of having your food freshly preparedin front of you and not the theatrics. My husband and I were so offended we promptly left, and I was so hurt by her actions, Iactually cried in the car. I’m not sure of her name, but she was a short woman of Asian descent with a ponytail. Ugh. I really had high hopes for this one. I got their Udon noodle soup, 2 different sushi rolls. The noodles didn’t taste... like anything, it is very thick and for a second I felt like I was eating raw thick pasta. Sushi was surprisingly very dry!!Never had a sushi this dry before!! Like you actually have to keep chewing it for a while before you can eat it. 3 stars sincethey made the food fast.. but I guess fast is not great sometimes…. Read more

Love this place!! It has option of Hibachi or dine in, it has a 1-5pm happy hr menu, and their shaggy dog is delicious! They... also have a peanut roll, it’s soo gooodd! Absolutely don’t want to miss this. My husband and I love sushi and visit manysushi places all over houston, this restaurant makes it on our top 3!! Read more

Great service in a comfortable atmosphere. Food was delicious and on point. My only disappointment was they were out of Uni.... Price point is very fair for the great quality food. Definitely would come back here again and recommend you try them out. Read more

Got the dinner special and it was delicious! I believe one of them was called the shaggy roll but all three were really good! I... know there are a few sushi spots around but this place is worth it! So if you’re craving sushi stop by give them a try! Read more
