Reviews for Wokker in Houston, TX
Their food truck has some of the best brisket fries I've ever had; delicious perfectly crispy spiced curly fries, topped with... juicy brisket cubes, 2 types of cheese, green onions, drizzled with an ample amount of sriracha (or chipotle) mayo that justtastes heavenly. Their lychee lemonade is also the bomb, particularly if you don't like super sour lemonade--it's not sweet, just not intensely sour. Their pullin chicken on the other hand, was kind of dry and unimpressive. It would be a great dish forsomeone who wants normal popcorn chicken, like a picky kid. Overall, a good place to take your tastebuds on a food adventure, but they have some more normal options if adventure isn't your thing. Read more

A fun find while roaming downtown Houston. Brussel sprouts cooked to a perfect al dente, great roast and burnt edges. Overall... flavor is very savory but too much sauce for my liking. It's a great flavor, just too much of it. Smoked chicken fried rice hada great journey of flavors...Kimchi, rice, smoked chicken. Only issue was egg was overcooked...just cooked on too hot of agrill. Totally worth a try if you make it to the Underground! Read more

Everything was delicious! Definitely would order again. I had to get multiple orders of dumplings because everyone wanted more.
Please note this a review for the Wokker Texas food truck, the food truck of choice at the Kirby Ice House on Saturday 25th... September 2021. A well-deserved 5-star review, as it hits the essential elements of a favorite food truck - great food, greattaste, great price. I chose the pork belly fried rice. This dish comes with very well flavored , slightly crispy, succulentpork, a slightly spice, tasty homemade kimchi, and moist, well-prepared fried rice. Hot, and fresh, this makes a great foodtruck dish for $11. Highly recommended. Read more
Wow holy, both of their fried rice with pork belly and fried rice with chicken are awesome. The flavors are full on. Just enough... of spice and the taste of pork belly is just so porky and tender, it?s melt in your mouth. I like their fried dumplings too butI was too busy with the fried rice, even my nephew who is like a picky eater still in awe with their fried rice. Definitely beback. Read more
I had a free sample of Wokker?s smoked chicken fried rice at school and enjoyed it so much I decided to go to the restaurant.... Today I tried the cowboy katsu for $11 (no tax was included), and honestly, it was NOT worth the money. Wokker?s menu isoverpriced! Eleven dollars is too much for the small proportion that they gave me. I couldn?t even get a complimentary cup ofwater. The guy said I would have to pay for a bottle of water (which was an additional $2). The food was mediocre and quitebland. The fried egg was medium done, which is not what I?m used to, but it wasn?t bad. I might come again to try the pork bellyfried rice, but only if I?m okay with overspending unnecessarily, I bring my own drink, and I?m not that hungry. Overall, I wasdisappointed with my order.
