I've never been to a restaurant that doesn't allow you to order takeout until after 3. Very bad for business. They sell... breakfast but won't cater to those who don't want to sit on the restaurant. this is the worst place I have ever been they would not do take out orders . she was just rude .I am getting the feeling it... because we were not colored . 1960 should be removed from maps . this is the worst place to live .and by the way you would thinkthese waffle house waitresses would be more worried about all the roaches I saw when we walked in .they just lost my businessforever. that place is nasty don't waste your money . management should fire all who works there. it was just awful . Great customer service from the people who work there to the the actual customers. It is nice to go to a place where everyone is... respectful and courteous to everyone. Please, you rude, political, biases, prejudice, self-absorb people who feel any andeveryone needs and wants to listen to your viewpoints, do not patronize this location. My daughter & I visited Waffle House on 1960 @ 45 North in Houston Texas on Saturday September 3, 2022 around 2ish AM we were... not greeted just looked at #1. A young lady by the name of Skylar took our order. Grant it was busy. Skylar also baged ourorder. There was a large group of adults & small children came in right after placing our order. We were sitting against thewall waiting. I seen Skylar bagging but we were never called up so I assumed it wasn't ready yet. But then I noticed the largegroup begin getting their food. I stood up & Skylar came forward & ask my daughter what did you order... I intercepted & saidyou took the order. She rolled her eyes went to register viewed order slips turn around picked up the bag she had placedearlier. I said hold up our food been sitting for quite sometime if cold we need a refund. I asked for a manager., Skylar justturned walked away & ignore me. I said excuse me who is the manager on duty I was told she not here. I said excuse me againsomebody anybody please help me because Skylar just left us standing there. Finally another lady named Tutti/Tudy came to us shewas very apologetic & rectified the issue. However I highly recommend to revisit training for the entire crew. Also this storeneed immediate attention on up keep. I noticed a leak on the floor near bar area also tile broken underneath a table these areall hazards. I pray this write up/ review get to the right person. Read more
Food was delicious but I could not enjoy it because of their fly infestation. It felt like every minute I had to shoo a fly away... from my food my face and I would feel them fly around my legs too. The woman that took my order was nice and sweet. When the cook brought my food I kept saying thank you but he would not give me... a response. Almost like talking to a mime but hey it's ok. Everything was fine except the grits. They had a distinct tastealmost like old or cooked in a dirty pan that's never been washed. I thought maybe it was in my head but I even tried to addsyrup and it was a no. Probably would try a different location instead of this one. Read more
The service was awful. I sat down at the counter and the server didn't even ask me if it was for here or to go. She just assumed... it was to go. Charge me 10% extra for a to-go order. She starting to fill up a to-go cup and I told her that it was for here.She told me she asked me and I said that it was to go. Her supervisor caught her in a lie. The food was the only goodthing. Update. things are worse. Runny gravy and was told they don't have real butter but waited until the food was delivered.I am totally done with this location. Read more
You know what is expected the moment you walk into Waffle House. Its that particular reason as to why we still go to Waffle... House. The retro atmosphere and simple yet soul satisfying meal with a simple cup of Jo and orange juice. My meal is alwaysserved hot and fresh in a timely manner. The people are always down to earth, rough and rugged yet gentle souls but firey ifneed be. The vibe I get from WH is like no other. I imagine myself as a old man (I'm 25) who is satisfied and content withlife, just out and about reading the news paper, getting a nice meal to start the day. It's a feeling of simple times whenthings were slower yet lively. WH is the most complete down to Earth restaurant. A perfect relic of what America truly is at itsheart and core. Read more
