I honestly did not know what to think upon coming to this place? I thought I would try out this vegan restaurant. It was super... tasty & it absolutely blew my mind! This was my first time eating here and trying jack fruit. The mployee was extremely nice and gracious enough to let us sample... whatever we wanted. I did get a bowl and it.was enough for two people. You choose what you want in your bowl beginning withrice, a choice of beans, a variety of protein then vegetables. It was delicious. Read more
My sons & I dined in at this vegan spot for Sunday lunch but there was only one vegan in the group ????. The location was easily... accessible & the vibrant decor made a pleasant atmosphere. Bunch was available but we all opted for the lunch menu. We orderedthe jalapeño beyond burger, the veggie burger, & nachos. The burgers we big, juicy & flavorful. The nachos was big enough to beshared by two people. Everyone enjoyed their food (yes, everyone). There were several drink options and we tried four differentaguas frescas. I cannot stress how amazing this place is. I moved to Houston less than two months ago and I've eaten here four times ???? I... never wanna try anything else bc I don't think it will be better than Veegos. I got the burrito twice, the breakfast burritoonce, and just tried the veggie burger. Everything was very good, but I'm docking a start because if the high price. The torta was phenomenal. The portion was actually... large and came with fantastic curly fries. The quesadilla was really good, but was tiny on comparison. It did come with rice andbeans which were actually outstanding on their own. Lastly, the mole fries were very interesting. The mole was slightly sweet,with hints of nuts and cacao. It was a good compliment to the saltiness of the fries and cheese. Lastly, the agua freacas weresuper tasty. They were super sweet tho, but water down are pretty good. Overall, I highly recommend this place. The price isdefinitely high, but the food tastes fantastic. Read more
