Food was delicious! I was hungry & was very satisfied with the portions. Waiter was nice and attentive. I got the shorty and... grits and I would order it again it was that good. My pear-fection cocktail was good too. My husband tried the sliders. Read more
We brought my mom and Aunt here for mother's day brunch and the food was so delicious! There was a bit of a wait, but the... customer service was excellent and they comped us an appetizer for the wait. Our waiter was great and the atmosphere is chilland laid back. I will definitely visit here again ????????*pictured is pancakes with peanut butter praline syrup with scrambledeggs and bacon (if you like peanut brittle, then you will like the syrup) and chicken and pancakes Read more
an amazing spot tucked in Houston! it is so cute and is broken into 2 parts: bottom being market and top being restaurant! the... food is truly so so fresh and the menu is vast with choices! the waitress was so sweet and we were able to choose where we sat.the fish was cooked amazingly and their lunch combos are tier 1! p a r k i n g: the parking here is very limited. please keepthat in mind if planning on dining here, they have a small parking area outside and are able to park around the side! we went ona Wednesday which helped. Although I like the other food I?ve tried, the vegetarian breakfast pie was not great. It was filled with a mass of soft... scrambled eggs, spinach, and shallots with some cheese on top. Pretty sure the menu said it was sautéed, but it was just ahuge, wet, unseasoned blob on a strange, also soft pastry. What might have added flavor was the side of sausage gravy they gaveme, but what use is that for a vegetarian? Read more
Stopped in for a late lunch and was not disappointed! Since it was an off time, we opted to get appetizers, but clearly our... eyes were bigger than our stomachs. We ordered the Monkey bread, Society eggs & meat and cheese boards. Everything wasfantastic! The Monkey bread was warm and delicious! The Society egg, which are deviled eggs, tasted fantastic (this was my favout of all that we ordered), and the mean and cheese board was beautifully presented with crostini type bread (so tasty!!), 3kinds of cheeses, meats, nuts and fruit, as well as some jam and honey. They offer grab and go items, including prepared foodand stuff you can stop in and buy like a market. Looking forward to stopping in again and trying other options! Read more
How anyone could give this soul filling place less than 5 stars is beyond me. Everything from the cozy, garden style patio to... the carefully chosen retail items to the delicious fresh ingredients, this place has 10x TLC. The service was over the topfriendly giving my granddaughter and I am extra piece of bacon on our shared plate. Lots of restaurants talk about ?grandma?sgravy? but this place not only prepares her recipe but also that cup filling feeling. Read more
New to Houston, I saw this place on a drive one morning so a few friends and I figured we?d check it out. There was a bit of a... wait to sit inside at the upstairs portion of the restaurant. However, there were plenty of tables outside for us to sit.Service is walk up - at least for outside - they then bring you the food. They had quite a few options to choose from andsurveying the table everything was pretty tasty. All in all I?d definitely come back for a low key brunch. Read more
Mama, what a good first stop on my Houston Restaurant Weeks tour. I knew from the warm greeting by Robert that this was going to... be a great meal. At $39 this meal didn't disappoint at all. The fried green tomato stack was the sleeper hit and probably myfavorite part. In fairness, I was soon too stuffed to finish my dinner or dessert. I would definitely return. Pro Tip: if youare trying to avoid a crowd Tuesday nights at 6:30pm give you the ability to social distance cause it isn't as busy. Read more
