My absolute favorite items on the menu!!! Both spicy yet different flavor pallets. Really nice evening at Trendy Dumpling. The service was sooo great and they made our first visit excellent. The place was... clean and they have an open kitchen where you can see the cooks making noodles by hand! We had the chicken dumplings, orangechicken, combination lo-mein, and beef noodle soup. Had high expecations for these soup dumplings from the high rating the restaurant has on Google. I was fairly dissapointed. The... texture of the dumplings did hold well and contained the soup inside while picking up. The flavors weren't there. The chickensoup dumplings was bland and the pork had a weird flavor. Also had the Beijing duck and it comes two ways (three if you add thesoup). The duck with the pancakes (great thin pancakes and presentation) and also stir-fried with some onions. Ordered walnut shrimp, crab puffs, and the cheesecake sampler. The Good: - The walnut shrimp was phenomenal. That is all.... *chef?s kiss* The cheesecake were yummy and in cute little squares. The Meh: - Nothing I ordered at Trendy Dumpling was bad.The crab puffs were very good, but I could?ve done without the powdered sugar. It made a massive mess with each bite. Overall,I?ll be back.
