Great food, but small portions relative to price. By the time you order 2 or 3 tacos and a soft drink, your meal is pushing $20.
We are regular customer at Torchy?s! Today we went at around 10 pm for dinner, had an worst experience ever! We placed dine-in... order, and server - Kelsey brought to go! We have asked that we are dining in and not to-go order! She went inside and bring ourorder, you could see that she served us by unpacking to-go order. Everything was supper cold. Chips and quest was cold, taco wascold. When my wife asked for avocado dips on a side, she said they do not serve more than 1 dip per taco, which we have neverbefore. My wife explained that food is cold, She rolls her eyes over and walked away. I do not appreciate the body language andcustomer service like that. I am posting a review the incident happened today, I wish someone can notice this things and resolveit. This is not the appropriate way of treating customers. We didn?t feel like eating after horrible customer service, werequested full refund. The store manager Bobby came out and void the transaction and Bobby explained us thats Inappropriatebehavior is not acceptable and they will address the problem. From the beginning of the pandemic, I have been visiting this Torch's Tacos, mostly for take-out/curb-side delivery. It always... went well and I am a fan of the chain. Yesterday (June 27, 2022), I was planning to meet a friend of mine there for lunch. Fora variety of reasons, I ended up arriving about 10 minutes earlier than planned. I entered the restaurant and was promptlygreeted. I mentioned that I was meeting a friend and was early. I found an open booth and sat down in the AC to avoid theextreme Houston heat. While checking my cell phone for messages, etc., one of the sales staff came over with a beverage cup andoffered me a drink while I waited. It was a very kind and welcomed offer that I quickly accepted. My friend arrived a fewminutes later and we both enjoyed lunch. Great initiative from the staff. Thank you Torchy's. Read more
Excellent Baja, Fried Avocado, Blackened Salmon and Trailer Park Trash tacos. Chips and salsa came out nice and warm and nicel... salted. Great service at order station and throughout the meal. Read more
This place is great! I'm from Atlanta and we don't have a Torchy's out there. Heard rave reviews from Houstonians, and had to... give it all a try. Been to the soft opening, had 2 delightful tacos. Very filling and flavorful. Also shared the queso...some ofthe BEST I've ever had. Last week though, I dined in for breakfast. Sat at the bar to write and chat with everyone around.Grabbed me a breakfast taco, recommended by Iassac. He was SUPER helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Then on top of that, hisfood recommendation was exactly what I desired: EGGS, POTATOES, SMOKED BEEF BRISKET & CHEESE WITH TOMATILLO SAUCE ON A FLOURTORTILLA. CAL 467 It's called "The Wrangler" The brisket set it off, and I devoured it. Washed it down with water, whilesipping on their house made sangria. Definitely appreciate this establishment. I visited Torchy?s Tacos at this location for the first time today for lunch. The lines reminded me of the West University... location, but it?s because this location just opened up recently and a longer than normal wait is expected. The food was greatand so was the customer service. Pictures show one of the walls, a brushfire taco and the tipsy chick taco. I would have showedyou a picture of the chips and queso but it was so good I couldn?t put the chips down long enough to take a picture until it wasall gone. Ordered to go food and it was not prepared to go. The First Lady didn't offer to even bag the food up for me to go so I became... an employee and bagged my own food. I didn't even get a tip. Read more
