Went here almost 2 weeks ago. I think it was my third time at this location but it had been a while. The food was terribly... mediocre and the tacos were excessively packed and sauced. I'm sorry to say. I've always been a fan of torchys. We picked overour food and left dissatisfied. Additionally, I have a sensitivity to cleaning products but it's rare that it's an issue atrestaurants. I hope that in the future they'll clean the tables with consideration to the people eating just feet away. Sprayingtons of cleaning product so close to food is overwhelming. Very tasty food! I got the Baja shrimp, Mr. Orange and The Democrat. All were super delicious! I gave them 5 stars for service,... quickness to get food out, and taste. BUT MY ONLY COMPLAINT, is the tortillas are not warm when they are served. I went twicewithin a week and both times the tortillas were not fresh or warm. Decided to go out with my family on 1/16/22 to the location in the heights. I have to say it was not the best nothing against... the staff at all we spent almost $95 and the food came out cold! Everyone?s food was cold I was trying to determine if thetortillas are cooked on the grill before the meat and toppings are added?! I have 2 small kids 1 I ordered a kids cheesequesadilla and it wasn?t even a whole quesadilla, it was a half I?ve never seen that at any other restaurant before. The streetcorn was good but cold ????. I apologize but when you spend this type of money out eating I expect hot food not cold soggy food.The cashier did not bother to offer any coloring sheets or crayons for my kids I had to ask. The restroom was out of soap andnot clean at all. I?ve been here before maybe twice but I have to say I?m very disappointed ???? with the food temperature andthe quantity of food for almost $100. The reviews do speak for themselves when it comes to this place. We were visiting Texas from Canada and were told to check out... this location. From the friendly staff, the amazing food suggestions, the taste of the food and the fast service. Everythingwas just perfect. It was our first time at Torchy Tacos ever and these guys have set a bar for us. The restaurant was veryclean from the inside and they also have a very tiny spot on the side for outdoor seating. There is ample parking behind therestaurant. We will certainly come back when we visit again. Read more
