First time back in nearly two decades if memory serves right. Food hits just right for the price, and their location is ideal... for neighborhood. Was turnt off by their hostess? Sat us down and for the lack of a better term purposefully threw the menusand straws in a, "I don't want to be here, but I'll playfully show you how much I don't want to be here attitude." As if wewould find humor or sympathy in it. Our dinner party all looked at each other in bewilderment. The other waitstaff/owner whomostly served us after the fact were phenomenal! Loved their katsu curry! I am looking forward to revisiting for more comfortfood. Read more

Took my son yesterday as it was on the way to an event, and I ordered a sushi combo. It tasted the same as a grocery store combo... that had been sitting in a fridge, definitely not freshly made. The rice was dry, and hard, and the fish was so thinly cut. Thetuna and California rolls were tiny as well. I ordered a combo to include 10 "chef's choice" pieces and I only got a variety of3 fish, basic tuna, salmon and whitefish. Definitely not worth the $25.50 base price. Sad it has gone down this much, I rememberwhen they were worth driving to. I will definitely keep driving past in the future. Read more

This place was pretty awesome. One of the most interesting concept on a sushi roll was the CICI. Not for those who might have... texture issues. It was delicious! Read more

Kind of a weird dining experience, as our original server was a bit snarky. We got traded off to a nice, younger gentleman and... he took great care of us. Not a big fan of the roll I ordered, but I will choose something else next time. Read more

This place is a favorite! I love the papásito roll (fried) Im new to sushi and that roll is so goooood. I also get their... hibachi chicken, and actually mix it together since they separate it all. The only downside is that if you get a roll and lunchmeal you will average spend $18+ for each person, so yes a little pricey. The shaggy roll (non fried) was okay but no contenderfor the papasito roll. Read more

This is a great sushi stop on the Bay Area side of town. They have a great list of traditional and specialized rolls. The staff... is very welcoming and make sure you are well taken care over. Read more

This was my first time here and I will very likely return, even though I'm only in the area a couple of times a year -- the... service was great and the food was fantastic. We got the Lunch Box specials: two "F" boxes and a "C" box -- and they weredelicious. The portion size was just right, the flavors and textures were on-target and the entire experience was one I'd liketo repeat someday. Read more
