Wow. Such amazing food. Everything we had was interesting, superbly cooked, and delicious. I'd never been to the area it's in... and it's a really cool little pocket of Houston. Will definitely be back. Read more

I don?t say this often but I love this place. From Oxheart to T Rex, is one of the few restaurants in Houston that makes me keep... going back for years. This place is small but cozy. Foods are creative, unique and cook to perfection. Service is verywelcoming and spectacular. Menu changes every season. Tip: Small place with tasty food and excellent service means difficult tobook. Plan your date night early. Read more

I only got to eat at Oxheart twice, and this was my first trip to Theodore Rex. More laid back and comprehensible than Oxheart,... but just as memorable and delicious. Read more

Lost a star because it needs a handicap ramp. ?. parking is hard to find. But, the food is amazing...you pick like at a... tapas restaurant. Everything was delicious. 5 stars for the chef who made the menu..the rice was a rare rice....which Iliked...the chicken was delicious and I would eat the crepe every day of the week. Servers were great. Stacy gave get insighton where the food came from. Love ? Read more

My experience at Theodore Rex was perfect. The hospitality I felt in my first five minutes was already better than most... restaurants I visit. The food at Theodore is amazing. The only thing that's odd is how unassuming each dish looks when you'refirst presented it. You might have the best dumplings you've ever had, a solid white chicken breast or a crepe that leaves youwondering what's inside. It's hard to judge at first glance but this was some of the best food I've had in Houston and mostlikely some of the best I've had recently. I wish I could take better pictures because I don't think I did the dishes justice. Read more

We started off in the private room, which was super quaint and fun but we were cut off from the rest of the restaurant. So we... opted to sit at the bar, which we loved because we got to watch the chefs prepare everything. The menu changes seasonally and Ihad forgotten to do this post so non of these items are on the menu anymore, but they were absolutely delicious! Can't sayenough about how much flavor and unique tastes we experienced in each bite. The staff is wonderful and with the chefs helpexplain everything they out into each dish so you understand how it was prepared and what you are eating. One of my top 5restaurant experiences in Houston. Very small venue so make a reservation ahead of time. Read more
