Friendly and fast service. The sausage and pulled pork are tasty. Unfortunately we got the meat on a potato that had oily bitter... butter that ruined the taste of everything it was on. It tasted and looked like like the movie theater popcorn butter. I askedfor honey to go on my cornbread and they gave me what they called "Honey butter." I've included a photo of the "honey butter"and the yellow clear stuff in the picture isn't honey, it's oil. And I'm not sure what the brown stuff in the bottom is. Thebutter just ruined everything! If it weren't for the nasty butter, I would have given them 5 stars. Read more

Solid BBQ with fast service. It's a great place to stop in for a quick (relatively) bite to eat. I stopped in midweek at the... end of lunch hour. It wasn't crowded. I ordered from the charming young lady behind the counter and took a seat. The food wason the table in 5 minutes. Courteous service. I ordered the 3 meat plate with coleslaw and collard greens. The fatty brisketwas deliciously smokey but not overly so. It may be too fatty for some, but it was perfect for me. The sausage was cookednicely with a crispy casing. It's meat was juicy and not overcooked. The ribs... Well, they were a little bland for me. Theywere juicy and tender. I did not use the BBQ sauce on the meats, just some pickles, and onions. So my experience is based on themeats alone. The BBQ sauces were either sweet or mildly spice. Nice, but not needed for the meats. All in all, it was a greatwalk from my cardio stress test... LOL... Please don't tell my doctor ;) Read more

I went here over this past weekend for an early dinner with my family and we had a great time here! I appreciated the staff for... being so kind, understanding and engaging with my two hyper kids under 5; it's refreshing to go out and not get dirty looksbecause my kids are being kids who don't get to get out much. The restaurant is very tidy and we were served pretty quicklyafter placing our order. I had the loaded baked potato with brisket and it was amazing! The meat was so tender and smoky andthat BBQ sauce is a great topper. My husband ordered a chicken plate with the baked potato salad and beans, he ate his before Icould get a picture so I know it was great lol. I also tried the Tres Leches cake and let me tell you! It was so moist withoutthe drippage and just the right amount of sweet! I maybe shouldn't have ate the whole piece like I did, but no regrets at all.Overall, we had a great family night at this place. The food and the atmosphere was everything! Money well spent, we willdefinitely come back soon! Read more

Very good food bbq & seasoned sides. The only area of growth would be for them to have someone take the "call-in" orders away... from the "dine-in" order line. Read more

Had the brisket platter for two and was not to my expectations. I think overall the price is fair for the amount of food.... Firstly, the brisket did not taste it was slow cooked for as long as it should. They only had one version of brisket whichlooked like medium done. I like The Pit Room where you can request less fatty for example. The onions was a weird add-on, agrilled version is more valuable imo. Cornbread was tasty but served cold borderline stale. You can skip out on the Mac andCheese at this establishment. Read more

The Brisket House is not stingy with their brisket!! Delicious, smokey, tender, tasty and stacked on! Fresh, crisp onions, not... a pickle person, so no review. Ordered mustard potato salad, was cool, fresh, creamy, chopped evenly and great compliment to thebrisket sandwich. BBQ sauce was semi sweet and tangy. Restaurant was clean, plenty of TVs and great country music piped inhouse speakers. Friendly and efficient staff are very helpful for first timers. Go get you some!! Read more

House Special reminds me of my days in College Station and getting the Aggie Special at Tom?s BBQ! Brisket was lean as requested... but not dry. Sausage had a nice texture and good flavor. We will definitely add this to our list of restaurants to support! This is their second location, the first is on Woodway. Read more
