The food was good but I asked for a special order. I guess the couldn?t give me 3 different enchiladas but thanks for replacing... the refried beans to charro beans. The beef was okay but not that tender that?s why I wanted a cheese enchilada. But overall itwas a good lunch for me and the Uber driver was really friendly. I would recommend. Read more
Came with my fiancé after 7 months of having a bad experience at this restaurant but my fiancé wanted to give the place... another shot? we ended up having the same server and her attitude was the same as 7 months ago, like she doesn?t even want to bethere and our food was cold and we were charged extra for homemade tortillas just to get what the picture shows below.Definitely we will not be going back to this location, we?ve been to many other locations and had great experiences but this onejust doesn?t care. The food was great only complain is that we order to go and I call the the restaurant to inform the the lids melted she try to... tell me it was because of my driving I explain to her it was impossible for my driving to melt the lids. On April 9th my friends from Louisiana came to visit and wanted "real" Mexican food, so I suggested Taqueria Arandas. They were... staying at a local hotel and it was late so we ordered To-go. Because of a language barrier with the cashier and a translator,my order was finally placed correctly on the second register transaction. When we arrived at the hotel room, our experiencecontinued to get worse. Our food was cold, it was prepared incorrectly, the fajita meat had no flavor, the portions were small,and there were no utensils provided. I immediately contacted the Manager, Suzanna, who assured me that my bad experience wouldbe rectified with a "much better quality in food" and to "wait for a call tmrw afternoon at 5". I did not get a call at 5 thatafternoon, so I sent a text to her questioning a resolution and asking her to contact me. Her reply was "I will...imsorry...been busy since i got here...but ill be checking everything...receipts and all" Here it is 9 days later and I havestill not been contacted, even after another reminder text on 4/15/21. This is the worst restaurant experience I've had in 51yrs on this earth and possibly the worst customer service ever. I'm still waiting for management to make an effort to please along time customer. For now, I will not be a Taqueria Arandas customer and I will definitely not recommend them to others. It'sbeen a month since this terrible experience. 2 weeks ago I copy and pasted this post and texted it to Suzanna hoping I would getsome kind of response that shows that Taquerias Arandas really cares about their customers. I also emailed a copy to theCorporate Office....guess what??? No response!! I will continue to update this review periodically and keep spreading theword until management does their job and gives my hard earned money back! Read more
My Husband and I along with my son and daughter went here (Taqueria Arandas on Gessner) for breakfast and asked for a menudo but... it look watery, greasy and hardly any meat in it, not good. I ordered the breakfast special which was two over easy eggs, salsaon top, nopalitos/cactus strips with tomatoes, onion, green jalapeño pepper, and potatoes, accompanied by refried beans plus 3small flour tortillas, my son and daughter had tacos 5 in total of bean and cheese, bacon and egg and ham & egg which came outto $47.00 which is not bad but the quality and taste of the food was not worth it. Felt like I was eating wax. No flavor at alland the tortillas so small and hard. Sorry but I gave it a 3 star. Although the service and atmosphere was good but, the food iswhat I'm coming in here for too. Wish they add more tastey flavor into the food and this would be a place I would regularly comeeveryday.
