This place is easy to miss if you don't know it's there. It is a quaint intimate eatery that I was lucky to get a seat at. As... soon as the door opens, the aromas of deliciousness greet you. The wait staff are quick and attentive. Your food is ready inminutes. The depth of flavors in each bite are uh-mazing. I really wished for an unending bowl of broth and ramen. Read more

Was looking for a sushi alternative for something semi-close to West University and while I had eaten their ramen before at... another location, had not tried their sushi. Great price and delicious and fresh for a take-out, loaded pics of the take outcontainers and then plated. Really good, will return. Did a chirashi bowl and some rolls. Read more

I was thinking of my trip in Tokyo so I wanted to try this noodle shop. It didn?t look good from the outside so I wasn?t... thinking about it until I googled it and it has great reviews so I thought I would try and see. I order the #1 special and has ahot chili sauce on the side since I like spicy food. It was actually very good. The noodle has a bite to it, the broth is prettygood, the grilled shrimps have smoky flavor and the pork are very tender. I also loved the fried onions, it adds a depth to theflavor. It?s awesome for a chilly night when you just can?t eat anything but a hot soup. They open late so it?s a plus. I don?tcare much for the octopus balls. But definitely come back for the noodles. I got the Curry Tsukemen Ramen. Was the best ramen I have EVER had. Definitely on the heavier side which I was in the mood for I... couldn?t even finish it. pro tip: order extra noodles to go so you can get 2 meals for the price of one with your left overbroth. Read more

Awesome ramen. I was with a Japanese person new to US who said this is good good ramen! She had extra spicy miso ramen, and I... had extra spicy tonkatsu ramen, and order of gyoza. The ramen noodles were good with just the right bite feel, and overall verytasty. Just spicy enough. She also thought the ajitama (soy egg done custardy yolk) was perfect. Service at this small bustlingplace was quick and very Japanese - mid meal staff collected empty mushroom side bowls and even the straw paper covers. 3parking spots up front, and a few more behind the restaurant. Found this quaint little hole in the wall ramen spot while coming out the doctor's office, I was the first one to arrive at... 11:00am sharp and within 5 minutes it was packed to capacity, with people already getting on the waiting list which let me knowthat this place must have some good eats, I ordered the Tamashi Men and Tonkatsu Ramen and let me tell you it did notdisappoint, the broth was rich and flavorfully ramen noodles where firm and aldente it had these amazing caramelized onions thatI personally loved, I just wish they would serve some thicker style noodles instead of the thin and that they offered a beeframen option. But that's just my personal preference. Besides that the place gets a five star very attentive food was brought tomy table promptly and employees were friendly. I would most definitely recommend ???????? Read more

Ordered the Curry Ramen with woodear mushroom & extra egg. I love spicy so it was a 9/10 for me. The deep flavor was really... yummy!! The karaage (fried chicken appetizer) was pretty good, but the takoyaki (octopus fried dough ball) was excellent - oneof the best I've ordered at any restaurant in recent memory. I would definitely go back to try the regular ramen styles. Littleto no store parking but there is ample room for street spots. There was a wait-list as dine in was quite small, but I did nothave to wait at prime dinner time on a Saturday. Hidden gem of a restaurant???????? Read more

The BEST ramen in Houston, and trust me I?ve tried damn near all of them. It?s insane how it?s the best and probably the... cheapest bowl too. The menu is short and simple and right to the point, and none of the options are a miss. Of course theTamashi?s mein is the star of the show. I literally eat here almost once a week and it has never ever disappointed or have I hadburnout from always getting it. I would order this as my last meal. ???? Read more
