Reviews for Taconmadre (Food Truck) in Houston, TX
Been coming here once in a while ever since they had the taco truck. Now, they moved to their (original) brick and mortar... location next door, so it's still in the same place. I love the food here, from their tacos, to quesadillas, to piratas. Thepeople there are really friendly, too. The reason why it isn't a 5-star though is because they have messed up my order in twodifferent occasions when I make an order to-go over the phone, so I would suggest asking them to repeat the order or just simplyheading over there to make the order. These people are out their rabbit a** minds. Not only have they dramatically increased the price but they've shrunk the size of... the food by 50 percent. The food is good but definitely not worth it for such a small amount of food when they are charging veryhigh prices. Read more
I would of gave it a 1 but I considered how delicious these tacos WHERE BEFORE. I've been coming here for more than 20 years and... these last few times the taste has disappointed me. The size and not to mention the price is not worth me driving 45 minutesanymore. Hope they better the recipe of how it was before.???? Read more
Always good to go after a night of drinking to sober up tacos are the best on the southeast part of town ????
My favorite taco spot! The customer service is perfect and the food is just delicious. I think the only thing I can say... negatively is that they need more people in the kitchen for better flow in the drive-through. I give this place a 9 out of 10. Read more
Tripa taco was undercooked(very greasy). Asked if they could cook it a little bit more and the girl said they couldn't. And... they're stingy on the rice and charro beans. Read more
A great selection of mexican cuisine and food items available on the menu, though the gorditas I ordered were a bit too greasy... for my liking, I still found them delicious. Only other complaint would be the drink prices, slightly too expensive compared toother taquerias. Read more
They are no longer using the food truck (school bus), but have a brick and mortar restaurant now. It's not much to it, a few... tables and a couple tvs. But the ac works good now. The important part... THE FOOD! The food is excellent as always, Pastortacos on flour (harina) tortillas with onions and cilantro = delicious! Had a beef fajita gordita as well, and some charrobeans. It was exactly what I expected and wanted! The prices have gone up slightly since my last trip, but then again everythingeverywhere has gone up. Worth the drive and worth every penny! Read more
