Came here on a Friday afternoon for lunch. First of all, shouts to the cashier, Paul, who was able to answer the questions I had... about the menu. He was also super nice and welcoming, which really helps with the overall dining experience. I?ve been searchingfor some really good fried rice since moving here. Most places just don?t get it right, but Swamp Kingz comes pretty darn close.I got their Queenz Royal Pack that comes with fried rice and shrimp, and a side of spicy corn. I opted for the Cajun fried rice(DELISH). The shrimp were meh. I wasn?t expecting much because it is just boiled shrimp, but I can tell that they use the pinkpre-cooked shrimps, which I personally don?t have a taste for. The spicy corn was surprisingly, actually spicy! I love it when Iask for something spicy, and it?s actually what I ask for. I kept seeing this place on TikTok and decided to try it on my trip to Houston. The seafood was sooo good, that dipping sauce... really makes the food taste delicious!! I enjoyed the seafood platter and a daiquiri. The service was pleasant and the serversare very attentive refilling our drinks and making sure we were good. Will be back soon!! Read more
First and foremost, the food here was smacking and finger licking good - ok that was a little exaggerated. We ordered the... crawfish fried rice and for the small size THAT WAS A LOT. There was nothing that special about the rice but nonetheless it wasstill good. Don?t get the fried oysters because OYSTERS SHOULD NOT BE FRIED. The servers are so nice though and they absolutelymake the experience worth taking again. Hamilton, dude, you are amazing and I will definitely be back just to catch up with you.Overall, 9/10! Was really pleasantly surprised with our visit here. We had shrimp fried rice and an Alaskan king crab package including shrimp,... crab claws, corn, potatoes, and king crab legs. All were very good! The crab boil Everything was cooked in was spicy andbuttery. The king crab legs were well cooked and I was able to crack and peel them without a tool. Sauces were all excellent -buttery with salt and Cajun spices. The staff were very helpful as well and came over to check on us several times. Anytime I?min the area I?ll consider visiting again! Great spot to drop in and get some fresh cooked food. Good music playing is an added bonus! We order the Cajun fried rice and... the Royal Pk broil. Great flavor and the rice has a nice kick to it.
