What a nice little sushi place! The service is friendly and the staff are accommodating. The food is great! I only had one piece... of tuna nigiri with my tonkatsu, but it was the best I've had ina while! Very fresh, soft and sweet. Read more

Sushi Wabi is hands down the best, most authentic Japanese restaurant in Houston. I?ve been here four days in a row and I... normally get the Fuji volcano and the Fuji mountain. Oh my goodness. Heaven. Their atmosphere is authentic, their quality ishigh and consistent. I?m very proud of their representation of Japanese culture. Very delicate and tasteful. I highly encourageyou to come here and try it out. They never disappoint. Read more

Most google reviews give out 5 stars very easily, but this place deserves it. Top quality sushi - I?ve only been once and the... mango tango and flaming rolls were great. Tasted fresh and flavorful. Octopus ball appetizer was good as well. The wasabi wasspicy as it should be, versus the watered down versions. The food came out fast, and there is a water boy walking around all thetime. Good price compared to other places in Houston, my rolls were around 15 a piece but I?ve had some for 17+ for lowerquality before. I?d definitely come back, and would recommend. Read more

Love this place! We used to go so often a while back but I stopped going after I changed my eating habits and don't eat rice... anymore. I recently went there with some friends and I was sitting there wondering what I could get. I asked the waitress if Icould get a sushi roll without rice and she didn't even hesitate to answer yes. She mentioned she had never been asked to dothat before but she would definitely ask them to do it for me. When she walked out and gave me my cucumber wrapped roll, it wasnot only beautiful, but delicious. Even she said she would be trying it that way soon. I'm glad to know I can go to my oldfavorites and have options. Thank you to the staff for being so accommodating! Read more

Great hospitality & food. There's never a dull moment with the Owners, William & Fanny. Us, being new in town, they are very... friendly in fitting us in. They are such an accomodating couple where both make good conversation and know how to make you feelat home. They recommend good dishes and serve us sake every time to ensure that we are most welcomed. I think a lot of thecustomers have become friends of theirs too. We go to both their Robata and Sushi restaurants on the same street. Weacknowledge that they source their fish directly from a good wholesaler and the portions of sashimi are generous. We are repeatcustomers as we never fail to have a pleasant dining experience. Also they make sure that our kids are well taken care of too.Highly recommend this place so you don't miss their warm greeting. Read more

Average food. Decent decor and vibe. I visited for the time today (Tuesday around 4 pm). The restaurant was empty. We were... greeted and seated immediately. I like the variety of rolls offered. We ordered a crabmeat puff, vegetable egg roll, rock roll, and Japanese chicken fried rice. The crabmeat puff was my least favorite. The contents were good but the pastry seemed to befried too hard and not flaky. The food was bland and didn?t hit the spot for me. The women?s bathroom smelled terrible andneeded to be cleaned. The waitress was very nice. And the food arrived at our table quickly after ordering. Read more
