I don?t leave too many bad reviews, and I typically have more patience for staff and employee issues at the more ?fast-food?... related restaurants than most because my wife and I owned a frozen yogurt shop for about 5 years where we employed a good amountof teens and first-time employees, but unfortunately this wasn?t a good experience (and this involved two grown men). The twogentlemen that were working weren?t friendly and when it was our turn to order, the one that made the sandwich just silentlylooked at me after I said, ?hello? until I was uncomfortable enough to just start ordering. When it was time to pay, I showed acoupon for a $5.99 footlong, and the other gentleman with dreads that was working (who refused to give his name, only that he?sthe store manager) said, without looking at the coupon, ?That coupon isn?t for the steak and cheese.? I asked him if he wouldlike to look at it, knowing that the standard steak and cheese wasn?t listed as an exclusion and tried to read him theexclusions, but he said he didn?t care and he knew what he was talking about. I let him know that we had just used a similarcoupon for the same sandwich at another subway a week earlier and he said, ?It?s only at participating subways.? At that point,I knew that he just didn?t want to honor the coupon, so I jokingly said, ?So I should go down the road to the other subwaythen?? He grabbed my sandwich off the counter and said ?that?s fine.? Lol My 4 year old was hungry so I asked for it back andpaid full price. Like I said, I tend to always leave tips at places like this, even for mediocre service, and totally overlookhorrible service, but I have much less patience for two grown men that care so little about the success of the place where theywork, and if nothing else, I?d like to let the owner know about our experience so he/she can decide how they would like tohandle the situation. My wife and I had a similar situation come up with a 16-year-old employee that worked for us Read more
You guys need to have more than one person working. There are currently 13 people waiting to be serviced and you have one person... in the entire store. Very poor service Read more
Fatima is a little jewel. I'd spoken to her briefly a few times but never much because she's so busy but there was a lull, so I... asked her where she was from and she told me she's Kurdish.I got an amazing account of leaving danger and the rebuilding of alife. I asked do you know what you are now? She asked what am now? I answered, a "real" American. She seemed pleased to hear it.Hold on to your little jewel. I hope Subway corporate reads my review. The worst Subway staff at this location (Briar Forest & Belt way). Especially the Black man who is very unfriendly overall. I... work next to their building and today was my second time purchasing my lunch and it was worse experience. First of all it wasjust ONE WOMAN and ONE MAN working during rush lunch hour and the woman could not even fix my tuna salad so the guy told her hewill assist her but he was taking other orders did not even start to prepare mine while I have been waiting close to ten minutesin line and he kept on doing other things so after I've waited patiently for it I told him I needed my salad then he was talkingto himself and to the other employee about me I think he was complaining about me which was very rude when a customer isstanding right front of you. Also, he never APOLOGIZED or said THANK YOU! until I left. The salad was so small on top of allthis and I got charged for same price! It's clear he is NOT HAPPY working there. All I want to let the owner know is that if youreceive bad reviews on staff esp. on a same employee you know that is very bad and you need to do something about it if youdon't want to lose all the customers!. I'm not 100% sure if Subway policies have changed, please correct me if I'm wrong. But I know customers have the right to ask if... the bread or ingredients used is fresh. Yesterday morning I asked one of the employees was the bread made fresh today and hecaught a whole attitude! When I address his attitude he became really aggressive, verbally assaulting and told me to get out of"his restaurant". Me being a former Subway employee for many years I know the rights of the customer and I know the rights ofthe employee but this situation was totally uncalled-for. On top of all that he didn't even wash his hands after attending tothe customer who was in front of me. I would really appreciate if management would retrain and speak with their staff because noone should be treated like that for asking a question. Read more
