Reviews for Spring Creek Barbeque in Houston, TX
Good barbecue but just not great... Always seems like warm to cold... Veggies are always good, and also the fresh buns... Do... save room for the Bluebell and apple cobbler... An extra that you don't know about until you sit down to eat... Read more
You need to be pretty good to get a good score for BBQ in Texas, so that's why I give three stars. We got a brisket sandwich and... two sausage sandwiches, banana pudding and a peach cobbler. Brisket was pretty good, specially with the sauce poured on. Thecasing on the sausage was so tough that I caught my wife gnawing on her sandwich like a puppy. Seriously. Once she peeled it alloff she said it tasted fine. Banana pudding was decent. Lightly flavored and mostly whipped cream. Wife said the peach cobblerwas delicious and the best part of the meal by far. The employees were super nice, and everything seemed pretty clean as far asI could tell. So that was good. Overall, Not a terrible experience, not a great one. Read more

Have had takeout from Spring Creek before but first time to dine in. Came to try the ribs because we hadn't had them before. ... Got the babyback rib plate with potato salad and green beans. They offered 2 plates since we were 2 people sharing one meal andthat was nice. The food was delicious; the meat was tender and satisfying. Also a staffer offered additional fresh yeast rollsto guests while they dined and I liked that, too. Service was friendly and atmosphere was welcoming. Want to come back again. Read more
We went in about 3:45 PM and the place was pretty empty. The people were friendly and the food was OK. I had a brisket sandwich... (a bit dry) and a plate of very good and very fresh French fries. Prices are reasonable. Read more

This used to be my favorite BBQ place, not anymore. The last two times we've tried it the food has been awful. The baked... potatoes were cold. The buns were beyond stale! As "wet" as the chopped brisket is, it's full of hard dry chunks. Sadly the bestpart of the meal was the tea, pickle spear, and the roll. Read more
It?ll do in a pinch. Didn?t give me heartburn. Love those hot buns. It just feels lifeless/soulless.
