I like Spanish Flowers - it?s a nice, laid back spot that?s good for dinner with friends, date night, family dinner, parties,... watching soccer, etc. And the food is good (I say this as a gringa so take that with a grain of salt, lol). Last time we werehere we ordered queso that came with great thick cut tortilla chips. I got the mole poblano which I loved. We each hadmargaritas - my partner got the classic margarita which was very good. I got the smoky tamarindo margarita, which to mydisappointment was not very smoky and instead very very sweet. However it did come with tamarind wrapped around a straw, and Ido love tamarind, so that was fun. It?s a very solid spot for laid back, tasty tex mex. For a fish that costed >$20 you expect to taste good. This however was not the case, the fish was dry and rice had no flavor the... only think that was good was my lemonade drink. When requested the bill they took forever to bring. Had to ask 3 people for thebill. Read more
Friend showed me this place and it was nice. The place has a ton of parking and it had an upstairs open balcony which is super... nice and it is where we sat at. The waiter was super busy but he was very attentive to everyone he was serving and kept askingif we needed anything. The chips were kind of stale and the salsa wasn't spicy which sucks and the menu prices are pretty highcompared to other places. The first drink did take a bit to come out which was the margarita flight, they were small which waskind of a bummer and they weren't that strong. The other drinks were good but also not that strong. The food came out prettyquick and I had the carnitas tejanas which were delicious, they were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
