I took a class next door and went in here out of curiosity. I didn?t know what to get and the cashier recommended some things.... They had some specialty drinks but I?m very basic when it comes to coffee. I went with an iced caramel latte and I was blownaway. It was really balanced. It had a strong coffee taste but it wasn?t bitter or overwhelming. I could taste the caramel justenough so it was perfectly sweet. I?d pay the $5.50 here over SB any day. Happy I found this spot. Apple Butter: 8/10 Reminds me of apple sauce. Subtle, soft, and has a hint of cinnamon. Churro Donuts: 7.5/10 Very nice and... airy texture. The light sweetness is to my preference. The presentation of the churro donuts was not what I expected, but thetaste was still wonderful. Together the apple butter and the churro donuts pair very well. It gives off a very nostalgicchildhood feeling. Ube Affogato: 8.5/10 Ice Cream: 9/10 My order contained Carmel drizzle and mocha chocolate balls/candy.Eating it in part as simply ice cream and then affogato is really playful and fun for me. Although it brought a nice texture, Ipersonally wouldn't add the chocolate balls next time. It's just my own preference. Ice Cream w/ Ube Espresso:8/10 I was a bitsaddened that the espresso overpowered the ube, but overall the affogato was still pleasant to consume. After a few successful visit at this local gem, I thought I would give them a challenge of making a straight macchiato! First... of all it?s not available on the cash register, the barista had to come over to help to place the order. After about fiveminutes my macchiato showed up. See picture. A properly made macchiato is supposed to have two shots of espresso, this is one. There?s definitely too much frothed milk on top and the coffee was very sour. I cannot finish the drink. One of the best if not the best coffee shop in west Houston. It?s the environment for every category of a social life? the... respectful kinds! People of all backgrounds gather here and I feel as though there is no strangers in the place. People areeither smiling, laughing and having a good time or focused on accomplishing something as they study or work. The food tastesgreat and is presented with care. Beverages? Spinache Kolache was superb, crispy with perfect filling. They have great cold brew and a good atmosphere. Outdoor and indoor... seating options. They even have a few board games to play with. They have Wi-Fi and your login info is your receit number andthe total amount of your purchase. As far as I can tell it gives you access to the wifi all day, but I had to log back in a fewtimes using my same receipt. Read more
Great vibes, chill atmosphere, and yummy menu. Parking lot is tiny bit there?s parking on the street. Staff is friendly and... knowledgeable. Very quick service and an enjoyable ambiance. Would highly recommend and I plan on returning again! Read more
TL;DR Pricey coffee, but a great environment for hanging out with friends. Also, have selection of local brews. Location - the... shop is located behind the shopping center. You will need to go around. We were blaming the Apple Map for doing its thing again,but then realize the shop is behind the shopping center. Food/Drinks - love the breakfast Taco that I ordered. Nice, relaxing local coffee shop in Spring Branch. Tea was tasty. Staff is pleasant. I wish they would add heavy whipping cream... and/or unsweetened alt Milks as option for us low-carb, non-sugar folks. Read more
