I really enjoyed some of the food, especially the fish & shrimp, fried bananas as well as veggie egg rolls, see food got cold... really fast an some was either over cooked like green beans or the stuff oyster...the sushi was delicious as well salad was okdressing was meh.. Atmosphere can be better, I don't want to put that out there but I watched how they served a few others tomake sure I wasn't tripping before I make my comment on some staff...so I went in alone single woman I am mixed ethnicity, therewas another young lady fully black who came in alone an they did her same as me but the couples who were around same ethnicityas them or maybe it could have just been couple thing idk because I couldn't see the other couples only on my side but theydidn't treat them like us..soon as we got there they immediately gave us our receipt an cookie we haven't even got to table withour food to eat they did not do anyone else like this..I started not to tip..but two servers did keep helping me consistently Iwould have tipped more and gave better review if I didn't feel profiled or singled out..it was very uncomfortable especially myfirst waiter didn't even come back to my table after sitting me but kept watching my every move...very weird...I came to thisplace because Google reviews stated it was not only good but healthy..an that it was..the desserts can definitely use betterquality only thing tasted up to par was cake kind of like cheese cake an pudding fruit was not sweet at all jello bland sweettea at first had awkward taste but then it could've been fresh brewed..other than that everything else was decent..I give 3 outof 5 needs a little more work on customer service and atmosphere... quality and quantity is superb.. temperature could be littlebetter for food as well..overall I recommend... healthy..clean...good ???? again just wish service didn't treat me like that... Excellent food, excellent service! The food was continously refreshed. Everything was hot and fresh. Our table was cleared... promptly and water refilled often. The desserts were plentiful and fresh fruit selections were especially nice options. Theprice for two of us was $27 at 3 pm and worth every single penny. Read more
Food was OK, but I've had much better. However, I have big heart for wait staff. They kept table clean and filled my drink. I... prefer to tip in CASH. My check stated the price was 15 something including tax. I saw the tip percents and left $4 in cash. Itold the cashier I left gratuity on the table. I hadn?t been to Silver Palace in over ten years - and generally don?t do buffets. I went this weekend for a late lunch on... Sunday (almost 2pm) and it was still rather busy. Things I observed: the food is refreshed often when it?s busy. The kitchenwas always bring new, hot pans of food to replenish the buffet. There was a large selection of both American Chinese dishes aswell as things like chicken wings, pizza, fries, and potato wedges. Decent cold buffet with fruit, salads, a few sushi rolls(meh) etc, and a pretty extensive dessert station. The two best things I had were the egg drop soup and the iced tea. Everything else was acceptable for a buffet. Service is mostly limited to seating, drinks, and plate removal, but it was fastand friendly. My tea was kept refilled consistently. So, decent quality for buffet - but nothing super special that wouldrequire a trip from across town for. Read more

The staff girls are on point here. Not sure if family owned very beautiful and friendly. Ther food is delicious. I had 5 plates... piled and the ice cream. I'm new to Austin and happy I treated myself to there food. Read more
This Is a good buffet. Better than most. They didn't have a huge selection . But their food was fresh. Different varieties.... Not alot of sushi... but still good enough. I recommend this place. And the service was excellent. Read more
