I?ve lived in Houston my whole life and grew up near this Shipley?s. We have since moved to a different part of town but we... still drive over here on the weekends for donuts. This is easily the best Shipleys in town. The glazed donuts are always hot. Read more
The service is somewhat lack luster . But the donuts are always very fresh and also very delicious. My last experience was not... so fun . They were closed but still had the sign on as if they were open . Then as I approached the window the didn't even speakto me , they just pointed to a paper that said closed . Although this was a rare experience things could have been handleddifferently. Read more
Kolaches served HOT! Orange juice not worth it? I asked for a ?large orange juice? but they just give you some bottled brand.... They handed me an ?Orchard Pure? bottle, and you could hardly call it a large. Kolaches were great tho. Read more
The donuts are great so I rated this place a 4. In order to enjoy the kolaches you have to rip away a good amount of the excess... breading they use or else you can find yourself just eating cheese bread and possibly full before even finishing. Just somethingI feel certain people would understand and appreciate aside from derailing their rating with my obnoxious opinion. Read more
