I asked for a Bavarian filled bar with nuts, I saw that they did not have any with nuts on the shelf so I asked them to add... nuts, the guy refused! This is the only Shipley?s location I?ve been to that refuse to put nuts on a filled bar to satisfy thecustomer! Read more
This Shipleys is awful. First I can never get hot glazed no matter what time I go. Today is no exception and they are not even... fresh. They taste like they were just cooked too long. I?m so disappointed. I haven?t had a donut in a long while and this wasno treat. Shipleys used to be the best donut shop in the world for me but they are going downhill with their product. I woke up earlier in the morning to get donuts. I checked this website and it states the restaurant opens at 5. I make it there... at 5. I waited 10mins after and the workers was in the building preparing food. I got out my car checked their business hoursand the business hours stated they open at 5. So I waited another 10mins in hopes they have things ready. So I called and askedwhat time are they open and the man said 6am. So I guess they business hours change from opening 5am to opening 6am!!! I usually like coming here, but today I don?t know if the lady was having a bad day or what. I told her I needed 6 filled donuts... then told her which ones I wanted. She said where I could hear her. That I was being so difficult. Then she preceded to prettymuch just chunk my donuts into a box which was a mess. There was so much paper and cream everywhere. She was rude andunprofessional. U are seeing correctly.. its MOLD! They said it's not mold but I've never gotten donuts from any other Shipley's like this. They... said it's from the machine but like I've said I've NEVER gotten donuts like this ever from any donut location before. We ordereda dozen for work and everyone ate them but 3 and when I went to get mine I just so happened to look underneath and there it was.I called to nicely complain maybe they can do something about it and they just said they can refund me on the 3 donuts since theother ones were eaten. That made me upset. Smh. Come on lady (Maria was her name), make it right, clean your machine and refundall the money, are y'all gonna pay for medical bills if someone ends up sick?! Now I'm praying our coworkers don't get sick dueto their lack of keeping machines clean. This was sooo embarrassing for me and now our coworkers don't want anything from thislocation.
