Came here for a company event so the dining experience was not typical of what the restaurant provides. Nevertheless, it was... great and I really enjoyed the food. Pros: 1. The food is great! Loved the flavors and presentation. 2. The portion sizes wereappropriate. Neither too much nor too little. The dessert particularly was just enough to be satisfied with the sweeth toothcraving. 3. Friendly and attentive wait staff. 4. The decor is inviting, modern, and has a warm feel. Cons: 1. Parking - hardto find a parking spot. I parked in the parking garage (behind the restaurant; 5-7 mins walk away) but you'll have to park allthe way at the top level unless you're ok with paying. Read more

I had been looking forward to this restaurant since it’s opening, but I was super disappointed. I went with a few friends and... no one was impressed with the food. I got the caprese salad, lobster bisque, lobster ravioli, and chocolate cake. The lobsterbisque was the worst lobster bisque I’ve ever had. It tasted like potato soup and the color was weird looking too. The ravioliwas underwhelming. The only thing that I enjoyed was the chocolate cake although I doubt I’d be back for an overpriced cake. 1star for the excellent service and one star for the cake. Read more

Excellent lunch spot in City Center. Unique blend of taste and flavors. I ordered the chicken pasta and onion pizza. Both were... excellent. I recommend this resturant also for their wine selection. Read more

Dined in for the first time to celebrate my birthday, and I had a marvelous time. From the customer service, wait and management... staff and quality of the food. Staff was amicable, friendly and thorough in explaining the dining experience and menu items. They were patient and didn’t rush us, regardless of how busy the restaurant was. I had the Picanha medium with four leches fordessert. My brother ordered angel hair pasta with chicken, and it was scrumptious. I will definitely return, it was such amemorable dining experience. The most delightful restaurant experience that I have had in Houston. I came down to visit some girlfriends that I graduated UT... with to spend the weekend and this was on the list of places to visit in the town and country area because of the greatreviews. The reviews we're very valid and interior is absolutely amazing. The waiting staff was like we were at a five-starrestaurant with a high in selection of wine. Brunch menu was three courses and I got the calamari strips in the flan fordessert. Highly recommended! Read more

Great experience. First time here. Had dinner with my family and the 4 courses was great. There's plenty of food that we have to... box all desserts home! Service was good! My favorite is the lamb chop, the sea bass and the liver! Read more

Highly recommended by a vino friend, I can understand why. Sal y Pimienta has extensive wine by the glass options as well as... diverse wine selection for wine lovers. Maybe I asked the wrong questions, it took a while to figure out what to order. Needbetter guidance than everything is good (even though everything we ordered is good). Noticed knowledge of wine differs acrossstaffs. A variety of meat cut and types are offered. Our meats are cooked perfectly (medium-rare), flavorful. The vegetablesare cooked by table side though the spiciness makes it harder to pair with the red. Plenty of desert and desert wine options. An amazing experience. Highly recommend for any food explorer and wine lovers. Will explore more dishes next time. Read more
