Went on a Saturday at noon and they were surprisingly empty. Food was outstandingly delicious! They know their schnitzel. I even... liked their sweet brown bread and mixed berry butter, even though I'm not a bread guy. Portions are Texas-sized, well worth theprice, and you should not leave feeling hungry. For dessert, the apple strudel is on the less sweet side, while the BlackForrest cake is sweater but light and fluffy. First time at Rudi Lechner's and it did not disappoint. I've been wanting to try it for years and finally made the 45 minute... drive from north of Houston and it was worth it. I've had authentic schnitzel in Vienna and Rudi Lechner's was perfect. I hadthe pork and the boyfriend had the chicken. Both were fork tender and very good. The red cabbage and sour kraut were very tasty.Nice selection of beers which were very cold. Everything was great. The service was excellent and they really made us feelwelcome.
