I had never tried Vietnamese food, I didn't know what to order, I ordered the sandwich with the butter and garlic fries. I... really loved the fries. At the end, when I was already at the table, the cashier came and gave me a banana and coconut dessert. totally FREE, I was surprised for that nice gift, Definitely, I will come back and try something different other than thesandwich. Places like this make me so proud to be Vietnamese, the lady that took my order was so sweet (maybe the owner), my tofu banh mi... was delicious and had the perfect amount of tofu (some places are so stingy). Best Pork Banh Mi ever. I?ve had a Banh Mi in New York and it can?t touch this. So much flavor. Fantastic baguette. Pork cooked... perfectly, garlic aioli added that extra touch. They hooked me up with a coconut banana cotta dessert as well and that was alsodelicious. They?re very nice and the service is great. I?ll be back for more!!! Read more
First time here from Chicago and the employee gave me free ?garlic bread?. He was very nice! Not your regular American garlic... bread though! My son loved it. He also like the banh mi I got which was the special. I liked it too and the noodles withchicken! The only downside about it is the Togo boxes. They are very cool and environmental friendly, but you cannot keep yourfood in their long bc it gets wet at the bottom..basically seeps through which I didn?t like. I thought this was a very uniqueand cool place though. The restaurant is clean and Very generous amount of food for about $10 for the noodles w/ chicken. Itfilled me up and I saved a lil in a bowl to finish the next day because I don?t waste no food! It came with an egg roll too!Very crunchy which I like. The fish sauce was very good too.
