Deceptively good... the portions were perfect. There were 4 of us and we were all full for 6+ hours after eating there. One of... our group continues to talk about their food and how good it was. The only criticism I have is the blue lights on the fishtank. If there was a way to make it less intense or block it from traveling past the tank that would be better. Read more

When visiting NW Houston and looking for a different place to eat, we found Red Fish. That is an interesting restaurant that... serves sushi and gumbo... Japanese Cajun Seafood restaurant? The wife said the sushi was good. I enjoyed the gumbo, althoughthat was the spiciest gumbo I have eaten in a long time. (Why so spicy?, that isn't necessary.) I wouldn't say it was the bestgumbo, but I'm still thinking about it fondly a week later, so it was memorably good. Read more

I have been eating here for quite a while and what I come for is the sushi. This is not your ordinary sushi (maki) but the Texas... version of what sushi would be like it it was invented here. Super generous portions and always flavorful and sure to satisfyyour pallet. There is a first and second floor and normally the second floor is open for lunch or weekend dinners. What I lovethe most is the consistent food creation (great food) and consistent service is A+ . Please give it a try, if you like seafoodyou found the right place. This place has a fish camp vibe, casual, with a full bar. The snapper in the chef's spicy sauce was really tasty, and I... absolutely loved the bacon wrapped asparagus. I could have eaten many of those for a meal! My companion got the blackenedredfish. It was a little spicy and came with lump crab meat, and he was very happy with the dish. Been wanting to try this place for 10 years and finally got around to it. Wish we had gone sooner! Will for sure be back with... our whole family. Absolutely delicious. I had the gulf red snapper.
