Ramen had good flavor, egg for $2.5 is a bit pricey, and half the pork was the most delicious pork I've ever had, the other half... was dry and chewy :c If the dry pork was just a fluke, I'd say 5/5 ramen. Service was a bit slow, but we had a big table soprobably due to that. Place had nice decoration and vibe Read more

Is this place under new management? Maybe it?s Sunday and it?s not the usual Chef? Haven?t been back in a while and yes, the... ingredients are all there but everything tasted like it was made in haste. The ramen broth is off, egg yoke usually cooked the?Japanese way? should be slightly creamy, is not. The fried chicken karaage is fried to a crisp! Totally dry. One of the fewauthentic Japanese flavors of Houston has gone missing and I?d be lying if I said I wasn?t disappointed. Read more

We had Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen & Fried Calamari today. Both dishes are UBER delicious and flavorful as always. Calamari (squid... legs) is relatively big & chewy. It also comes with a few edamame and tomatoes on the side. I also would like to complimenttheir staff. They are very friendly with passion. It is certainly a "Must-Go-Back" Ramen restaurant in Houston. Read more

Best ramen I?ve ever had! The tonkotsu broth had an insane amount of flavor and mouth feel. You could tell it was probably... simmered for a day or two. The restaurant itself was really nice, felt like a real ramen bar (to the best of my knowledge). Theladies who waited on us were really sweet and even told us of a sister restaurant in San Antonio which we?ll definitely betrying! I personally think $13 is not overpriced considering all the work, time, and effort that goes into making ramen. Googlethe process for making it: simmering the bones/broth for hours/days, making the chashu pork, making the homemade spicy paste, slicing the veggies, soft boiling eggs, having true alkaline ramen noodles that are cooked perfectly. $13 is not too expensiveat all considering everything involved. Try making it at home and you?ll see what I mean. Definitely recommend this place forfantastic ramen in Houston! Read more

The broth was amazing, very flavorful on both ramen dishes! Toppings were generous, pricing was fair, and the older lady who... helped us was very kind. Overall, a great first experience here and would recommend if you want tasty ramen! Read more

This place never disappoints. It's authentic ramen is made the right way, and you won't find a more flavorful bowl anywhere... else. This is hands down my favorite spot. Pictured: Spicy Tonkatsu Read more

Good noodles and overall great restaurant. There was only one menu that was placed at the ordering desk and you could choose... from it. The orders arrived fairly quickly and the store is fairly small in size. The noodles were displayed in an aesthetic wayand tasted nice. They are likely in connection with the Seiwa Market next door because many of their items are similar. Read more

Heard this is one of the most authentic Japanese ramen restaurant in H town and we were so excited to visit. However, we felt so... disappointed after. First, you need to pay up front when you walk in before you find a table, then when we were in the middle ofeating, the guy came ask me to check if transaction went through or not because their credit card reader had some issues. Ishowed him my transaction information and it came through. If he can wait until we finish food, we will feel okay. Honestly, Idon?t even know how to tip because we have to pay before we even sit down so I tip 15%. Once we paid and sit, we feel neglected. We didn?t get water until we asked. Food is good tho, but there are rooms to improve Read more
